can i take airtel connection how is the service and speed

can anyone tell me the airtel plans
pls help needed urgently

rakeshgoud, you have posted in other threads that you are looking for "BSNL BB", on another thread "Tata Indicom", and here "Airtel".

Please make up your mind.

And the best way is to check connectivity first. Airtel penetration is very low in most cities except Delhi. Tata Indicom is relatively better. BSNL has best penetration but sometimes suffers from modem shortage.

Call up each provider and check.

i dont know which will give better service
its cost more na so i want to confirm first
Tata is cheaper among all but lot of members told its service and customer service is bad .
Bsnl is too costly
i dont know abt Airtel

compare with other ISP's for monthly charges/ speed etc.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.
CC can be good/bad depending on your city.

OK.

First you are wrong about BSNL. It is the cheapest service. If you consider BSNL, you should look and opt for one of the following plans:

1. UL750+: BB @ 256 kbps or 32 KB/s, unlimited, free landline.
2. Home 500 C: BB @ from 256 kbps and upto 2 mbps (divide by 8 to get KB/s), 1.5GB usage, free landline, free 175 voice calls, unlimited free night usage 2 AM to 8 AM.
3. Home 500 C+: BB @ from 256 kbps and upto 2 mbps (divide by 8 to get KB/s), 2.5GB usage, free landline, free 50 voice calls, unlimited free night usage 2 AM to 8 AM.

For, Airtel, consider the Home 888 plan.

Do not think of any other ISP.

BSNL will be cheap but service quality is erratic. When it works, it is fabulous and nothing can beat it.

Airtel is costly but provides better service. But main problem is, it is not available everywhere.

If BSNL or Airtel both are not available, consider Tata Indicom.

i live in himayat nagar, hyd, and i dont have any complains from airtel...atleast from the connectivity and speed point of view.

theie service was awesome in 3 days iwas up and running with net connection.
till now i did not have any problems, even if i did they always send a rep to my house to fix it.

now all this is maybe true area wise, maybe if go to another area you wont get all these services.

now surfing, youtubing, digging, trailers, online fm....all that my 512bps unlimited is good....the problem for the last 4 months i am facing is from the torrents.

they just dont seem to work. i have tried all the port fwding guides and modem tweaking guides on the planet, bloddy torrents dont work.
but i found something else to keep my viewing habits consistent, so i am happy

Better go for BSNL, if u can pay some extra Money then its Good for Airtel
