Thread: internet broadband access in airtel dth?

Nice to know that u work for airtel and is quite well informed about this. I am interested in taking up a broadband connection in my native place in west bengal - it is a rural area and does not have bsnl broad band (they have stopped providing broadband connections). Tata indicom signal is poor indoors (I tried with tata indicom plug 2 surf) the speed was slow and connectivity was poor.

I have seen that reliance does not have a tower near by (check reliance website rcom and look for Network Coverage) Coordinates: 22°27'24"N 87°56'32"E
Suggest me if it is possible to take a broad band connection over here using DTH

is there any way to remove Different logos like Airtel, SAB, Sony , some ad on bottom as take quite some space of screen ?
