Yes, but currently it is disabled. Infact all sorts of PVR functions are disabled and i doubt whether any DTH provider is giving away the same right now. Big TV has confirmed that they will be shortly introducing PVR functionality through a remote firmware update.

PVR = Personal Video Recorder.

It is a device that will let you record programs while watching any other channel (even the same channel). In USA, they call it TiVo.

I was just about to ask what the usb port is for, glad to know i found the answer! So seems like Airtel have planned for future services too!
