I am a student who will be staying in Bangalore studying computer engineering (1st yr) and came across these forums which were a tremendous help to me so far.

Being a student, I wont be able to afford a TV (duh ) but I have saved up enough for a TV tuner card.

My dilemma is the following.

I want to connect an Airtel (preferably, others will also do) set top box to a TV tuner card so that I can watch TV on my Laptop. The catch here is that I want the TV via my Windows Media Centre which is a part of Windows Vista Home Premium. This includes the ability to record TV into my hard disk.

I was wondering if there is any TV tuner which would enable me to do that - I called the Airtel guys and they couldn't tell me squat!
