Thread: Strange problem with Airtel DTH STB

I had a strange problem with airtel STB. It was taking more than 2 mins to startup when I switch it on. Sometimes STB used to re-start also. I called customer care and they raised one complaint and fixed technician appointment also.

The technician called me much before the expected time and asked the exact problem. He suggested to take out the power cord from the plug and plug it again in reverse way. This solution was not so accepetable to me... I asked him so many times , will this solve the issue ? He was keep on saying that yes sir. this will.

I did like that... wow !!!!! it worked. now STB taking less than 1 min for a cold start. Donno whether the power cord was the culprit or they did something at their end... anyway my issue solved.

Any comments ??
