Thread: How to skip unsubscribed channels

I have Airtel DTH with South Super Value pack . It has minimum channels so when i browse channels using airtel remote most channels i get "not subscribed" popup. So how to skip unsubscribed channels while browsing channels?Because its very difficult to reach from one channel to other by using channel + and - unless i remember the exact channel nos.

Is their any other alternative you guys using? Adding to favourite is clumsy i want to browse by just using channel + and -

Alas! This is a big problem and there is no solution.

The only options are:

- via the Electronic Program Guide
- remember the channel number and key it in

Well at least you can browse through the EPG but some of these minute problems should be corrected rather than finding substitute ways.

In the opinion of the DTH providers, this is not a problem. What they claim is that if you try to watch a channel to which you are not subscribed, you will get the standard message. This is a feature in all STBs all over the world.

One way to skip unwanted channels is to select 15 or so of your favorite channels and add them to My Favorites. Then you can go directly only to your favorite channels by browsing through them.

thats very annoying to see that screen ..tht say you are unsubscribed n bla bla...main prob is it makes some delay to take us to nxt channel..
i figured out solution for that ..its not the propr solution but it worked well for me..

u just need to add the channel in blocked list..
steps
- go to parental controls
- enter pin (default pin - 0000)
- go to select channels to block
- select unwanted channel (like ..airtel movies 1 ,2 ..so on)

now when u'll go to channell that ur noy subscribed, u'll see enter pin screen,intead of that sad message
it doesnt delay channel transition :

why dont u use favorite option
