I subscribed the airtel DTH HD ONLINE and paid through credit card, expected airtel is a very disciplined organization, in spite of various posts on this site for bad customer service from airtel, I don't know why i had a faith earlier on them because of their mobile service. after day2 , i received a call from the sales person to update my personal details,than I received the customer ID through sms, not even by email. Thats it, after that no response, i was calling them for status of my purchase, the customer service personal used to ask me to contact sales, and sales guy is asking me to contact customer service. Its back and forth. No response from either of the sales and customer service,fed up and lost faith, I asked to cancel the purchase because I bought it online, i thought it can be cancelled through customer service, than the customer service person told me to approach local distributer to cancel the purchase, thats the fun part, I asked to which distributer I have to approach, he said any distributer in your my city. I dont know, i bought it online, I thought everything will be taken care by the airtel and its service personal. I wasted my time in contacting them on phones, now fed up. This is big and bad service. I wanted to know how to make the CEO airtel dth legally bind to the service they are offering through online and after taking money from credit card, than not providing the service. Is it any way I can proceed legally and get them to work or face criminal charges for money robbing through online.
