Thread: Do not buy Airtel DTH

The problem is Many of us post their customer id in this forums. Anyone can call customer service or dial 12150 from their airtel mobile and use somebody customer id and they can apply anypack by the IVR system. Its so easy and they will be charged.
Airtel dont have any kind of security. I myself got in this kind of situation. when i called the customer service and told then i have not subscribed to any pack they dont agree bcoz they already have my money. terrible systems and service from airtel.
for this reason i am throwing away my airtel and going with sky HD

I am very surprised. I am having DishTV and when I call they always ask my name, addresss, registered cell number and sometimes DOB before going further.

But you are right. No one should post personal details in the forum. Not even e-mail id's.

I disagree with the starter of this thread... That does not happen... If you pay for anything using IVR, nothing is deducted form your current balance... Everything is paid as a top-up through IVR using your credit or debit card details, whether you want to subscribe/unsubscribe channels or watch a movie...
