    Cool Airtel roaming

Well i just wanted to get an opinion of you guys ...Airtel is has the best roaming coverage after BSNL ,,,,what do you guys say.

I can say this because i was leh ladakah a few months back and i was surprised to see Airtel towers to the full capacity...this was really impressive

I live in Jammu and BSNL,Air tel are the two major players there (Aircell is also there but it is very low key affair) Recently Reliance ventured into it too

So please post your opinions here

I found Vodafone & Idea Cellular the best during roaming in terms of coverage .
One thing more, i have always seen that vodafone has better coverage than airtel in any state.

Now, if i say states like Assam and the 7 sisters ,J&K , Tribal belt of Orrissa then you will have to agree that Vodaphone or hutch is not present there

Yes, i know that. I wish they would be available soon bcoz it is like a compromise where vodafone & idea are unavailable , the reason being
1 . Bsnl doesnt allow subscribers of private telcos
2 . Airtel only allows other airtel subscribers in its network
So, i have to bear with reliance gsm (heavy congestion & weak coverage) , aircel (weak coverage)

Best network is BSNL no doubts about it. second i would rate as Reliance CDMA and Third will be Airtel.
I am frequent traveler to all over India and i have personally tested this. Thought I am using Airtel as my personal and first number but BSNL is best no doubts about it.

For all cities except NE and J&K, Reliance(CDMA) is the best network for Roaming, both voice and Data. For smaller towns/villages and NE & J&K, BSNL is the best. Both in terms of cost and service.
