    i heard that some numbers in airtel can have free internet on new prepaid connection...

    i didnt got the retailer...can anyone please explain....

    i was asking about net on comp and not just on mobile...

    no airtel number can have free net on it.it may appear so that it is free as sometimes the charges are not shown immediately.but then one fine day,you will suddenly see 50 rs cu from your account.dont curse airtel then.it was for the browsing!!

    Recently I have purchase airtel prepaid but i didn't get any free usage of internet.

    airtel pre-paid cards do not come with any free usage of data.
    you can get free-usage if you have boought it with some phone as a combinational plan.
    like,i bought my diamond with my pre-paid,and i got 50mb/month free for 6 months..

    Absolutely right, actually it's a technical problem. Few months back airtel prepaid users can send Free SMS to any one by using Particular Message Center Number. They were not aware of it, but later on they come to know and solved the problem. Now no one can send Free Sms..

    exactly ... i too remember this thing ... it was quite a while ago ... almost more than a year ...
