Thread: setting for gprs

Hi,
Will anybody tell me how to do the setting manually for activating gprs on my nokia cell?
I tried sending messages to airtel but I am yet to get any response. I want to do it manually as I am pretty much excited about my new cell.

Airtel will send you GPRS settings as soon as service is activated. If it is already activated, call the customer support.

I did call the customer care executive and they told me to send sms. I sent the sms but yet to get any response.

most of the latest mobiles , especially nokia phones comes with automated configuration wizard,just run the wizard , choose your operator and you are done.
