Airtel launched prepaid BB internet services.

Limited service (Only POP3/IMAP Mail and IM) @ 299 per month
Full service @ 899 per month

Airtel prepaid customers can simply subscribe by sending SMS <airtelbb> to 121 and choose a plan

This is handset independent plan and customer can use handset from any source including 3rd party Blackberry compatible handsets

So effectively now it is possible to have a lifetime prepaid connection and use Blackberry Mail services at minimum cost

p.s. Reliance already has prepaid Blackberry services

In India many people need this service but due to high rates many wont be coming forward to use this.
