Thread: Airtel postpaid

Dear All,

I have taken a new Airtel postpaid connection 9972188388 (Karnataka Circle). Airtel is by default enabling its Chargeable Value added Services like Airtel live, WAP and Downloads and exploiting Customers.
As per TRAI guidelines 'No Chargeable value added service should be enabled to a Customer until his explicit consent'. Here Airtel is violating TRAI Rules and Exploiting Customers....

once i was downloading a game(for 99) from airtel live and due to some reason the connection was terminated and i was again charged for that when i refreshed the link. The customer care promised to refund but that didn't happen till now.

i converted from postpaid to prepaid and they didn't refund even though i called the customer care more than a dozen times. later i some how got their vp no and escalated the issue.

once i was on an overseas trip and paid for the international roaming which they said has been activated but was not activated during my 7 day trip.

when i changed to prepaid all the existing customers were offered for local calls @ 50ps but i was paying 1rs for each call and std 2 rs, till the recent offers of 50ps for airtel and 60 ps for others came to effect.
i am struck with this no for more than 3 years. waiting for no portability.

telecom operators are going on same path as insurance/loan/credit card companies ...
