Thread: Data plans for unlocked Iphone

I have got an unlocked Iphone from US,and want to use it with Airtel prepaid service.
Please suggest any data plan for the phone which can be used with prepaid sim.

I want to use mail,and internet services mainly and it would be better if EDGE service is available.

There is a Rs100 per month unlimited data plan from Airtel for its prepaid customers.

I could not find any Unlimited plan on Airtel site.
If you saw it somewhere can you please post the link to that page here.

I have Airtel Mobile Office for Rs.499 unlimited use on post paid. Works great with my unlocked iPhone.

There are a lot of data plans available. Dial *567# from your airtel mobile phone and you will get all the info you need including various data plans. This is for prepaid I dont know how ti works for postpaid.

Rs.98 plan with 2gb limit is available on Airtel Prepaid in most circles. The speed would be 2G and Speed depends accordingly if EDGE network is available in Area. But I think Most of the network is now EDGE enabled. Speed is good for basic things. (emails, Facebook). Dont consider it for streaming videos.

A NOP(Net on Phone) Unlimited Plan for Rs.99 is available but I think you cannot connect you mobile to computer for internet in this case.

2GB is more than enough if you just want to do internet on phone. Depends on user to user
