    Default Airtel Unlimted Internet Surfing

Some time ago I registered for Airtel unlimited internet surfing on my mobile phone connection and I got the service activated because the message i got was:

'Unlimited Internet surfing on Phone! Dial *567*2# (free). Rate Rs99/30 days or Rs30/7 days..'

So i activated this service and then I used to get 30 paise deducted from my account about 4-5 times a day, and that too when the phone was not in use at all. I called customer service and they said it would stop being deducted!!

And recently when I called they said that there are charges and denied the fact that its unlimited!

Airtel are total frauds...........you just can not reply on what they say as they would turn back..........I have deactivated the service now, as there is no point as I have lost about at least Rs1000 from this 30 paise deduction from the past 6 months now!!!!

Airtel VAS services are almost all junks.....
Like GPRS, Missed Call services also are ****.....
Once they gave me free missed call alerts for a month and two days before the month end, I contacted them and they said I will be charged Rs.20 from coming months onwards....
Since I wasn't using the service much, I deactivated the service then and there itself as per the instructions given by the executive.....
What happened was I got charged the next month as well..... When I called the customer care, they told it was a mistake and would refund it within 48hrs.....
It has been a year since that and their 48hrs haven't happened yet............

This is the case with me also they charge it at night 30 paisa for 10 to 15 times when everyone is sleeping what sick company and pathetic ideals, drain out people's money at night haha :-). A company with nefarious ideals, really disappointed . I mean you can't even access customer support their IVR system redirects you to 121*# haha completely screwed by Airtel. I vouch never to use airtel again, let them deduct the balance and drain out my money they are bound to loose a lot of customers. Just start seing it people you will notice this. screw airtel !

get a 98 recharge for 2gb/30days if you use internet on phone . I had been using for years and the balance deducted is from account of 98. to check balance dial *123*10#

And dont forget to choose Mobile office as default access point. First need to get Mobile office activated as only Airtel Live comes activated.

As for 30 Paisa deducting many times in a day. Disable the mobile internet and activate it only when you need it. If you use some smartphone like a android and have activated weather updates a nd facebook updates and automatic sync is on, it will automatically check for updates and after some idle time it disconnects and then only balance is deducted. I forgot to recharge when my card expired and 30 paisa started to deduct, i had to disable the mobile internet.

AirTel is the biggest CHOR Operator in country.
They will show you their best plans and schemes to attract customer and once customer is with them they will try every single option to harass them by capping GPRS speeds, making deductions for non subscribed VAS services. On top of that pathetic customer care will give answers like they are drunk.
