    Default GPRS unlimited

    hi,

    Does airtel has a gprs unlimited plan for Rs. 98. Is it fast enough ? Thanks in advance.

    Don't know about airtel, but aircel has it, speed it good (Depends on handset),
    When I used to Airtel it has charges of 15rs. per day.

    Which iphone do you use? Normal iphone, iphone 3G or iphone 3GS?

    aircel offers unlimited packs speed is defo not the best
    docomo also offers cool packs

    On my Nokia - 6681 I used to get 28 kBps (Kilo Bytes Per Second) on aircel connection & 26 kBps on airtel.

    Airtel MO has nearly 10 kbps speed

    It's Not unlimited , it's a 2GB Plan valid for 1 month!

    It's not Unlimted. It's a 2GB Plan for Rs.98/- Valid for 30 days!

    It is unlimited, in August 09 I downloaded 4.5 GB (Gigabyte).

    Which one you are using sumit ? Airtel or Aircel ?

    Can we use the gprs in the phone to connect to internet in our pc ?

    If yes, how to do ? My phone is Nokia 5800 Express Music

    Rs. 99/ Month

    speed depend upon the handset.
    Download files of size less than 2 Mb.
    In south India Ucweb 6.3 works and you can able to download upto 3 Mb files and can open almost all websites..........

    The best in this plan will be the handset having Edge in it. 3G mobile not required..........

    Yes. You can. Just call the customer care of VAS and tell them to give the procedure. All you have to do is to install correct drivers into the system. Hope you got a CD with your phone. Just connect through USB and try to make it work as a modem.

    Airtel gprs is waste. I get only 5KB speed maximum. The connection is not consistent. It get disconnected frequently. Moreover airtel does not have edge towers in all places. so we get only gprs. Airtel does not have unlimited plans it is just limited to 2 GB.

    I have an airtel number and I am paying no rent at all but I am charged only if I use the GPRS.

    Airtel mobile has unlimited GPRS package. It also provide net connection. In few State you can just send an sms to activate you GPRS package.

    But the speed of airtel gprs os pathetic

    It's like 153.6Kbps maximum!So if you are a heavy downloader,19.2KB/S will not help you!
