but like Docomo etc, for 1p/sec you have to pay for some top up like 60RS topup to activate 1p/sec in your Airtel.

BTW reliance has 33 Rs UL sms while AirTel has same play for Rs 95.

If you consider All India coverage, data connectivity, roaming cost and normal usage cost, Reliance CDMA will probably come on top.

Angry Worse/NO Customer Care for Reliance

But Worse/NO Customer Care for reliance. Once you have the problem with Reliance CDMA You want to wait patiently for at least 15 days time(48/24/48/24/48........)

I have Reliance CDMA, Reliance GSM, MTNL-BSNL, and Airtel.
    I roam extensively.
In my experience overall Rel CDMA is best. For smaller cities and towns BSNL is good. Airtel now has serious network problems in parts of Delhi/NCR and Kolkata.

Airtel is best in my locality in Network coverage & service.

That's why we still want to pay Airtel higher Call rates...

It is very rare that Airtel's network fails me. Vodafone is also good but there are times when vodafone gives up and Airtel's signals are rock solid. Places like Shimla, Mussorie got Airtel 3G a long time ago and others have only just started there.

as i mentioned in my previous post AIRTEL is since ages you just cant compare airtel with any other provider. new providers have just took a step in this business which is ruled by airtel.

Network coverage is area specific and you cant just say so and so network is good. You need network coverage at a particular place and those will perform better which have a tower close by. Some times Bsnl is the only network available at some places I have been to.

You can not say or justify which is the best network in India,as differnet places have different coverage. I mean in all metro cities you may get really good Tata network or Airtel network and you say Tata or Airtel are the best networks, but say if your in a desserted place and there is no coverage of either and only BSNL, that doesnt then mean BSNL is best network provider.

Well there are some best things, but that only just lasts for a short period of time sometimes. Every product or service has its flaws in this country, and its something we have got used it and when we do see something of the best quality or service we think wow....

Airtel gives you very good coverage, even though you maybe out of the city you will get signals.

I used to be with Airtel a long time ago, and I remember I was on a road trip, and we went through some village kind of areas and surprisingly I had no coverage, at time I would get one bar, and that too didn't really allow me to make a call as when I would try that one bar would also go. At that time one of my friends had a Tata Docomo connection he had full coverage. Its times like this when you think oh I should get another mobile service provider. I some thought I eventually changed to Idea, and I get great coverage with that.

No single company would give you good coverage all across India. In some areas Airtel would have good coverage and in others Vodafone or bsnl and so on. It really depends on the density of their towers in a given area.

I have noticed that if you have an Airtel sim it would do very well in North India. In Rajasthan Tata indicom is great and in Maharashtra Idea has no real competetor when it comes to network coverage and reliability. Rural areas in South India are very well connected on Bsnl network and even 3G works in the remotest of areas. So it is a very local thing really.

If you are going for a holiday some where then it is always a good idea to check with your hotel reception about which network works the best and if one of them has 3g there to avoid surprises once you get there
