    Indian model can't be compared to the West (NA or EU) or Far East (Japan etc) and with China forget it (deploying 4G based mobile broadband network with a whopping 60 Mbps pipe...India still struggling to get into 3G)!

    I've tried around 10 AM but it says my call would be charged 0.50 paise/3 min. It's not about 0.50 paise, they're actually looting the people!

    Just confirm after they say 50ps/3min..... Then they say they provide free service till May 10th.... I called even yesterday......

    IN maharashtra its starting from 21st may.....it ll b charged....as of in pune....jab kites release hogiiii...........

    i think in all ministries be it sports education or anything people who know something about the field should be made a minister and not morons.

    with airtel not only the charges are high
    but it also faces a bad reputation for having worst range in all providers

    yes it is true.. it is applicable in jharkhand and madhya pradesh around 3 months ago.. It really sucks.. because everytime when you call them.. they put your call on Hold(to check the problem).. and 3 minutes just pass..

    Airtel guys donot even have a good plan !
    While others in the competition have reduced rates drastically.
    Airtel did reduce call rates but its sms is real costly by around 1rupee per sms
    isn't that n00b.
    not intreoduced in prepaid validity plans
    so lifetime users better go somewhere else

    i use that for complaints...its applicable for complaints.....i even complaint free of cost sometime also add queries.....

    at first even i was angry but the only good that comes out of this is that ppl will now make only genuine calls for genuine reasons (instead of the usual "i'm bored lets talk to customer care" or in my observation the most famous "lets talk to a customer care chick" etc)
    it was fun in the beginning but in a country of a billion ppl it can surely be a huge problem

    But despite my saying all this i think its absurd to get charged for calling CC esp wen its their mistake. And with zero bal we seem to have no right to any help from them.

    And for some strange reason the wait to get to a rep got even longer

    Finally even i am against getting charged coz it is our right to a good service and not be paying for asking for it

    first FUP in broadband then this airtel sure is a trendsetter for all the bad reasons
