In general tablets are good for seeing movies - depends upon the display resolution and GPU.

As far as games are concerned, the same applies. And you must be aware that Android OS can play Android based games only. Also, the tablet must have enough memeory to install the games which are very heavy. Tablet is not meant for games ideally.

The review is right there in dinidirect.com.

Tablets are generally good for watching movies if you're on the go, or want to enjoy them when you're on the couch or in bed. However, gaming is a totally different story. You've got to keep in mind that the majority of games on tablets and other mobile devices are made for casual gamers in mind. If you prefer simple games, then a tablet is ideal for you. If you want to play more deeper and complex games, then you need to buy a powerful PC or console.

If the tablet is primarily going to be used for watching movies and playing games like the OP says, I'd also be tempted to go for a bigger screen size as 7" isn't that big for those purposes.

For general web browsing its ok, but for anything else I find the 7" screen a little on the small side to be honest.

Agreed. Tablest are not for playing games. He will have better performance on Android 3 than on tablet with Lollipop 5 Buy 5 inches phone. I suggest you OnePlus Two or OnePlus X.

It depends on which games you are trying to play. I have no problem playing the facebook games on my tablet. Scrabble and the other games that I can play on my phone, I can play on my tablet. It's just a bigger screen. In all fairness it sometimes moves slower on my tablet though. I would say that it is only a matter of what you are really trying to do with it.
