    Default Lenovo Vibe P1

I think that is an awesome battery backup which is very much needed in the current scenario. In Android set up it would be really helpful. I think the OS is Android 5.0 and it would be better if we can update this to new Marshmallow. All older versions of Android are experiencing various kinds of threats every day. Marshmallow with good security features would really spice up the handset.

However, I think it can upkeep its uniqueness with such a good battery backup among other Android handsets.

I think that as with other so called minor brands, Lenovo won't get the amount of sales it needs to make this device a success.

Even if it turns out to be the best device in the world, people will overlook it for the more popular brands.

Just to let you know, there were 14000 units of this phone that sold out in 14 seconds in a flash sale on Flipkart. I don't completely believe these figures, but still if it's true then I think it's a big thing for a brand like Lenovo.
However, I don't think Lenovo comes under the category of minor brands because it has so much great offerings in its line up. Be it a smartphone or a laptop, all of its products make a decent sale and the company has a fine reputation.

As you already mentioned, the figures might be a fabricated one just to arouse curiosity in buyers. Even if it is true, nobody is going to believe it in the present scenario. Yes, Lenovo is a well known name in laptops, but here also they are losing their grounds to other players nowadays. Moreover, recently they have been caught incorporating a spyware program in their laptops without the knowledge of users. Even though they made it clear that it is for the general analysis of online behaviors, they could have informed the users before actually implementing it. That is an unethical thing I believe.

I will be really difficult to complete with other well established players like Samsung, Sony, LG, HTC etc. But yes, because of its high battery backup they would be able to sell a number of handsets in the market.
