Thread: Apple iPhone 3.0

The new Apple software has been launched and the new iPhone 3.0 update is ready to be used for people who have iPhones and iPod Touch.
The iPhone 3.0 update came with the new iPhone 3G S phone.
If your wondering that you haven't got the new iPhone, dont worry as its available for all iPhone users and its free, but for iPod they will be required to pay $10 dollars for the new update, which was also charged for the iPhone 2 update too.

Some of the features from the new update include:

Cut, Copy and Paste functionality finally arrives
MMS support (Carrier support required)
Spotlight functionality for searching through the device
Widescreen display for more core applications
Voice Memo support

i am on 3.0 on my 2g ifone and its doing good

no issues uptil now

and the spotlight and copy paste features are the best

just 1 issue since 3.0 installed my google maps shows me wrong location of my own

it was correct in 2.2.1

i guess its not their issue but it just gets the location of the server

- voice memo is kind of useless
- i still use smsD for SMSes as it shows charector count i.e. 160 which the default one doesnt (its important as i send many international sms)
- Bluetooth stero doesnt work on my motorola bluetooth hedphones

Will sell my 2g and get an 3gs !!
