Thread: Solar Charger For iPhone

A design and manufacturing company by the name of MotionTouch has launched a new product Powcell which can charge mobile phones using solar energy.
A sleeve like design slides on to the back on the mobile handset and then using solar energy it charges the mobile phone. Even during calls the sleeve keeps the phone charged.
Powcell also has an internal battery, so that it stays charged even when the phone is removed from it, this ensures that when your phone goes absolutely dead, by connecting it to Powcell can provide instant power.
The Powcell has been designed for the Apple iPhone series and its been heard that there may be one designed for Blackberry devices too, but its not certain.

One of the great things is that the Powcells solar panel provides charging even when there are ambient light conditions.
