Thread: when is iphone 4 launching in India?

Hey guys.. as the topic suggest.. when is it launching?? i saw previous threads.. and i think its still not launched in India.. so whats the deal?? I mean what are network providers making plan?? are they launching??

will there be same like in abroad.. where they get locked phones (apple and At and t) same will be in India??

and please tell me what are the prices(brand new) for it??

anyone can tell me how much Iphone 3g, 3gs and 4 cost??? BTW is 3g sold in India??

I think Iphone 4 will be hell more costly than 3GS...

When it launches in India it should be locked to some operator and around 45k
No, Iphone 3G has been discontinued while 3GS is availiable for 30k

After Iphone 4g's launch i think 3GS will be slashed to 20k

And which country support 4g network? Is that U.S. one of 'em? or it's still testing phase? I really want to know

First of all its iPhone 4 and not iPhone 4G ( I also made a mistake in writing in another post)
iPhone 4 supports 3G networks at the max. Its nothing to do with 4G networks. The iPhone will be launched in India on May 27th 2011 through Airtel and Aircel. The cost will be 16gb for Rs.34500 and 32gb for Rs.40000. Both operators are offering rental offers and discount over a period of 24months so you get your amount reimbursed in form of discounts.
Vodafone will come out with iPhone 4 in July probably. the major benefit of iPhone 4 launch that it will be officially unlocked version as rates suggest. lets see what happens tomorrow.
