    Default iPhone 6

Its not been long since the iPhone 5s and 5c have been launched, that its now time for the iPhone 6 to be launched. According to reports the iPhone 6 will be launched in August this year which will be the 4.7-in and the 5.5 and 5.6-in will be launched a month after.
Seeing the past release of the iPhone's the news does seem quite true although it is only stated as rumors and nothing official from Apple yet.
The iPhone 6 is supposed to have a large screen size, which means it will be in competition with the Samsung, HTC mobile phones, the screen size of the previous iPhone's was a drawback which has now been changed to match up to its competitors.

The iPhone 6 is to be priced at over Rs50000. This is just way too much for a phone.

That is way above the high end phone range. Yet the iPhone is not even as good as it used to be, and still the price has been hiked up so much.

Although the price has been hiked up but still there is so much rave about the phone itself and there are so many people who are waiting to get the iPhone6.

There are two versions to the iPhone 6, the iPhone 6 itself and iPhone 6 Plus.

Apple is a brand name which has its charm, but the actual product does not match up to even the mid range Android phones. Majority of people go for the iPhone simply because of the brand and not really looking at the phone specifications.

Obviously it is just the brand which sells, and this is the same with branded clothes.

Like mentioned in the thread it is about brand only. Admin mentioned that the iPhone 6 wont sell much in India, it will. The people in India who are loaded don't need to see how expensive the phone is, they want brand. In Chandigarh you will a lot of people with iPhone's.

We all admit that the iPhone 6 isn't the greatest of phones regarding specifications, and we know its the brand that sells, but we do that when shopping be it clothes or food. However one thing is right that the phone has surely been over priced this time.

Although the cost of the iPhone 6 is quite high but I quite like it. I have always liked Apple products.

There is some problem with the iPhone 6 plus, when inserted into a tight pockets the phone apparently gets bent. It is large enough anyway and on top of this it is not a good sign, maybe Apple should have just stuck with their regular sized phones.

Brands like Lee were going to design trousers so that the iPhone 6 plus would fit in a pocket. I dont exactly know how big the iPhone 6 plus is but from the sound of it the phone seems too big and faulty as well now.

iPhone always wanted to keep their own brand and individuality but lacked in the size of the phone, and now that they have launched an extra large size of the series 6 phone it is a disaster.

You get mobile phones on contract basis as well which works out to be a different cost then buying the phone without a contract. This option is available abroad and not in India. Although I have not checked the iPhone 6 prices yet.

Woah that is some price. I think this is the highest price I have seen for a mobile phone, even the latest Samsung S series phone wasn't priced as much.

I think it has only been 2 days since the phone has been launched in India. iPhones have always been judged for their high prices and it has become their trade mark, and the thing is an Apple lover will pay whatever the price.

Actually Prateek let me correct you, the phone is yet to be released in India, and there are still another two days to its release in India. I dont even think its the release but the booking which will start for the phone itself.

Samsung is not far behind either and have launched the new Samsung Note 4 for Rs58300,only difference is that Samsung is of better quality but still price is too excessive.

Near enough all high end phones cost as this much now, the minimum price to expect is at least Rs30000.

Just a general question, how many of you would buy the iPhone 6 if you could afford it?

I dont think that I would buy the iPhone 6 even if I could afford it, it is way too costly and seriously not worth it.

I felt disappointed with Apple Iphone 6. Because it has a camera weak when we compared with phones "mid" like a Lumia 830. At least in my country ( Brazil), Iphone 6 is a luxurious phone. Thereat, That phone should come with features high end.

I'm not a massive fan of Apple myself, and I do think that even through the iPhone's are expensive, they're starting to become less and less worth the high asking price.

It seems that people are willing to pay the cost, simply because of the brand status as a fashion label, rather than for the actual ability of the device.

One of the disadvantages of the iPhone is undoubtedly not exchange files with other devices via Bluetooth. It bothers a lot, especially those who are familiar with this feature in Android and Windows Phone. One of the novelties it is the NFC, but is restricted and only works for payments with Apple Play, which only works in the US.

The popularity of NFC is diminishing day after day as the number of outlets with NFC facility is quite low. Apple still win hearts of people who looks for style, but its price is too high for a phone of this kind. But it has become a standard for some people who has no issue in spending money on it. Its stylish look coupled with able efforts of Apple's marketing team made it a grand success in fact. Its launch timing was also perfect.

Hope Samsung will also bring back its glory with the launch of its most awaited foldable phones which is expected in January 2016.

Here in Brazil, the iPhone is too expensive compared to other phones. Thereat, it became a symbol of luxury and many people like to be able to demonstrate to have the latest version.

One question for the regular users of iPhone. My usage of mobile data in not much, though I use it for regularly for checking mails and occasionally open Facebook. I do not use icloud much. I browse internet mostly thorough my desktop. Do I really need an antivirus for my phone? I use an iPhone 6s.

No, you dont need any anti virus on your phone. Just dont keep sensetive data on your phone and back up your pictures in case you lose your phone or it gets corrupted due to some reason. Key is to only download apps that are well known and from reliable sources only.
