Thread: Does any one know how to install iBlackList?

Hi guys ,
Has anyone run iBlackList on 1.1.4 iPhone?
I tried it doenot work for me ......Actually i am using SMSD app too along with the default app i.e MobileSMS by apple.
After installing both then i installed iBlacklist 1.9.4.
But it does not filter.
Any ideas ?
Whats going wrong?

i dint understood..... what u talking.. pl be more understandable.. mention your iphone firmware n also how u installed?? u installed from api file or downloaded directly from wifi from cydia?or installer?

Hi well actually i had tried to install it on my 1.1.4 firmware .....but it had not worked that time ...i had also contacted the creator he helped by it didnt work even for the free 2 numbers.

But in communication with the creator i found out that it actually back'sup the SMS to its own database and deletes them from the original database. For me this creates a problem because if i update my firmware then these deleted msges are gone ...and unfortunately there is no mechanism to get them back .this was told to me by the creator himself.He said he is working on that lets see .....if we get something of that sort then i will try it on my current 2.1 firmware.

well i guess its not such a big fuss.. as u are telling tht back ups n all..if u want your messages not deleted n upgrading firmware.. there is an application in cydia itself.. for sms back up.. search it up.. back up.. take the file to pc.. now upgrade your firmware.. restore those sms files.. now install iblacklist.. hope u understood...

Well actually you didnt get it.once you install blacklist ...it actually deletes the SMS from the regular SMS database and stores it in other database ......hence even if you backup and restore the application state with the data ....it will not be having the original SMS.

well than i guess u have to anytime once loose your messages.. lol.... but y u r so much behind that application? i mean u really need tht function?? lol... i have already got tht in my fone.. i never used it once.. if u have so much problem.. u can use my phone.. for it.. :lol:
