Here are few features I had in TV but after taking Big TV I am missing them.
- Diffeernt picture and sound setting for each channel
- Instant change of channel
- Instant start
- The heat settop box generate is too much

The other problem I faced with Big TV is their signals do not carry consistant voice. If I keep the voice at 70 in settop box. I can hear CNBC properly but on Tez it become too low, and on SabTV it become too high. Is there any solution to that?

Those features will not work as you dont change the channel on your TV and everything is taken over by the set top box. Channels will take about one second to change as it takes time for the set top box to process your requests. These boxes do become warm but havent seen one get "hot" Check if you have covered those holes which are supposed to keep it cool or else call Big tv to sort it out for you.

Well These feature will not work as you are not using your TV remote and channels.

Further In Dishtv I have seen
-- Instant change of channels is working and also swap button is good in that to move between 2 channels.
-- STB of Dishtv is very good.

Further i have never exp BIGTV but heard that over heating of STB is a contant problem in all bigtv STB's along with STB hanged very frequently.

The quality of video from a channel depends upon the incoming feed.

Every channel has its own volume level. Most new TVs have a function called automatic volume leveler - this feature allows the volume to be maintained at the same level.
