Wow that looks like really a exhaustive and good list to have! I want to know when big tv dth is officially going to be launched and are they planning for a whole india release or city specific releases? If they could launch it in my place with cheaper prices with this channels, i would definitely go for it.

i understand that big tv is offering so many channels but still we can not trust service like a blindman... as it will still take some time to know this better, as its a new provider so for sure will get lot many issues.. which will take more than expected time to get fixed..
i wud not like to advice anyone to buy or book this before launch...

I agree, but then as we all know that Big tv is already available for reliance employees for testing purposes. Yes they are experimenting before launching it and none of existing dth service have done this before. so am sure that once Big tv's launched it will create least issues comparing to others services...

I don't know with what you are comparing.

I have had DishTV for over 2 years and only once was my service down and that too for 48 hours. The reason was that I renewed subscription via the dealer and the dealer did it via the distributor. The payment did not reach the people in time. After that I am doing renewals over the internet and have had no problems.

My other relatives and friends have TataSky and although they have complaints against the recent remodelling of packages, they all said that service is good.

but blind faith on anything is not good.. so i still suggest to wait and watch.. atleast for first feedback from customes not from employees.. and testing is something totally different know...
in testing there is a small number of people involved but after launch it can create mess like late installaition or delivery
late activation.. weak signals in some areas.. or something...
