Thread: Big TV launching on 15 Aug. - my expect.

Dear Friends,

Yesterday I enquried with reliance representative of big tv. I got the following:
(1) You can get Big tv instantly anywhere in india thru Rel.PCO scheme that is valid upto 31st July.
(2) WHen I asked about commercial luanching date, they said very soon we are going to launch. But I understand that after PCO shcheme i.e. 31st July they can disclose their launching date most probably 15 Aug.
(3) Right now they are charging Rs.2250/- (as per PCO schme) and they will give free STB & 3 months connection + 2 months PPV.
(4) Currently they will provide 180 channels but as on the commercial date, it will be more than 240 channels.
This was all i enquried. Their number is *371, *377, 18002009001, 30338888, 30337171. Friends you could also know the status by these numbers.

i have decided that i will stay away from any thing that Anil Ambani launches
I guess big TV included

It will be better to wait and watch. In any case I am not shifting from Dish TV. I am getting almost all the channels that I want.

I will need a real reason to switch.

It is indeed true that reliance was a great brand only when papa ambani was there, now these brothers are trying to ruin his name by debranding it. With reliance mobile and other similar brands. But i hope big tv at least changes all it. Eager to wait on good deal from them.

I think there is hardly anything Reliance would be doing unless some asses intentionally screw things up.. everything is almost automated from activation to recharging and pay per view and stuff.

In my opinion Reliance Big tv wouldnt be as bad as their wimax service.
