Rep Power: 0 | I have tried to validate my BIG TV cash card (Rs.500 & Rs.200) to get the exclusive movie channels, day before yesterday. Till date I am not getting Movie channels. So, today, I contacted their customer care number and enquired about the same. They are telling me that the cards are already used before!!!! It was me who scratched the card and call the number specified on the back side of the Cash cared!!! Any advice friends??? |

| Platinum Member | I will strongly advise against using recharge cards/vouchers. I have heard of many cases where recharge failed for various reasons and there was messy callup to get things rectified. Another problem with recharge card is that their denomination is never equal to a subscription amount rounded off to a month. Suppose you wish to renew for 3 months and the total charge is Rs. 900/-, then you will get vouchers for Rs. 1000/- and your renewal date is 3 months + the additional Rs.100 worth of credit. If you have automatic reminders/alerts (provider should first be providing such service) then it is fine; else you may miss the deadline. Having siad that, your current option is resolve thru their billing department. I am sure it will get resolved but it may take some time. Luckily BigTV does not have a huge customer base at this moment and the billing dept may not be under duress at the moment. But it could also be true that because there is no huge subscriber base, the support center (incl billing) may not have too many executives. Next time, renew by Credit Card or Cheque only.
