BSNL can only be used for Fun purpose (chatting, browsing, downloading). Those rascals still believe Internet is for dating.

If you are a serious user (working from home etc.) then you DARE NOT take BSNL.
Airtel altho charges more, but has an excellent record of almost Zero downtime and quick assistance.

BSNL broadband service is a joke. No customer care, no one accountable , sarkari raj.

I am using BSNL broadband since Aug ‘09.i hv taken a wi fi modem DNA-A211-1.i hv never lost the link.the customer service is also good.the best part with bsnl service is the transparency which other ISPs lack very much.but to say it is not good bcoz it is public sector is a bit short sighted approach.one should have the proper mindset to appreciate the bsnl service vis-a-vis other private providers.

Well its right that BSNL has still not came out of its monopoly era. I have used both Airtel and BSNL and feel both have different customer segments. If u want good services and cost is not a problem for you then Airtel is the best. But if u are price sensitive and want to pay less they u have to let go of the “good service” part. Secondly, place and time of access also determines the speed u are getting. Try off-peak hours to get high speeds!

hello i hav bsnl evdo .but it is of no use .though they boast of speed upto 2.4 mbps sadly i get downloading speed of merely 70 kbps . so bsnl is the biggest cheater.

In bsnl service the net speed is 256kbs but i got oly maximum speed is 35kbs……………..
the worst service is “BSNL”>>BOOM<<

airtel provides 384 kbps in rs 1025 whereas bsnl provides the same in rs 250 for 1 gb and 750 for unlimted
