The packard bell laptop which I was going all ga ga about a couple of days ago is dead now. The hard drive made a huge cranking noise and since then it wont start I even tried to reformat it but it just wont happen as the hard drive is gone for ever. I do have a backup of the hard drive but now it will be a painto find a new hard drive for this laptop as I am sure packard bell dont have any workshops here in India and I might have to just let this laptop go for good. So atlast laptop shopping again 
might buy some cheap crap this time coz the previus one realistically cost me £500 per year as it was almost £1500 when I bought it 3 years ago.
