Tikona Wibro Broadband Tariff Plans

Tikona Wibro broadband tariff plans are available in Mumbai and soon will be launched in Pune. Wibro stands for wireless broadband and Tikona Wibro is a wireless broadband internet technology that has been developed by South Korean Telecome industry. The WiBro is the South Korean service name of IEEE 802.16e (mobile WiMAX ) international standard.

Over the years WiBro has devised itself to overcome the data rate limitations of mobile phones like CDMA 1X and added mobility to broadband internet access like Wireless LAN and ADSL. In Mumbai it launched its broadband service in the name of Tikona Wibro and promises to offer some great tariff plans. Tikona WiBro broadband Tariff Plans are available in different packages that suit the needs of various users in the city.

There are further plans to set up broadband internet connection in Delhi and other cities as well. They are offering some unbelievable broadband tariff plans to attract customers. Since they are still trying to make a good customer base in Mumbai they are still on the struggling phase.

Hathway data transfer 256kbps is 1gb plan is 330 Rs. but ur plan is 1GB is 505 per month . compare other company is resanable rate for residental area. pls resaanble rate for all those people are use internet.

there shud be a plan to give unlimited surfing and browsing with limited amount of downloading i.e 1 gb download but this download shud’nt include surfing or browsing as i said earlier.

Tikona is Good ISP, Reasonable Tariff Plan but poor services, It’s take too much time for AP(Access Point) Mounting in top of building (all most 2 to 3 months, i think is very long time??????)

I would like to notify all the users that if ayone is thinking positive about Tikona Digital Network at Mumbai (Andheri Area) then please let it go, ’cause it has left me irritated & frustrated after trying to get a connection for full 3 months. No response, zero feedback of/about your file/application progress and just simple false consoling from all the executives and their heads. Rest is upto you guys, hope you take the right decision.

Hi Folks,

If you are talking about wireless service then i think Zylog Wi5 is the best ( be itcost wise or in service). I am using their connection for last 6 months and their customer service is too good. I heard that they have launched in rural areas also.

tikona sevice is really poor in delhi ! i hav been waiting for installation for the past 4 days. the coustomer care is useless. they were very eager to collect my cheque for installation. reached my home in less than 3 minutes of calling. but once u give dem the money dey forget u. dont even attend ur calls properly and keep making fake promises ! my sales executive was some guy named gaurav.

i might file a complaint in the consumer court against them. they made me so upset with the installation that im considering to forget my 500 refundable amount and completely drop the idea of getiing their services !

Not at all satisfied with Tikona connection.
I have taken 300kbps unlimited plan.
The connection was good for a week, however, it has deteriorated ever since then.
The speed is very slow. At times even the gmail doesn’t load and i have to access mail in basic html view
I have logged complaints, dropped in a mail to customer service, however, no solution as of now.
This has been going on for more than 2 weeks.
Tikona guys visited my place, confirmed that the access point in my area is faulty, however, the problem has not yet been rectified.
Can’t play farmville / cafeworld/happyaquarium …!!! all thanks to Tikona..
Will wait for another week, and if probs not resolved, might switch to some other service provider ..

The calculations shown here are completely absurd.
Even if you get 2Mbps speed (0.25 MBps) it takes around (100MB/0.25MBps) ~= 7 Minutes to download a 100MB file.
And No Tariff in Tikona shows 2Mbps line for a user thata shared line to the building or to a particular area.
Actuals: The max speed they promise to provide is 600kbps this translates and you get around 400 to 450 kbps on an average.

With the above speed to download a 100MB file it takes around 100*1024*8kbits/400kbps ~= 40 Minutes.

There are always are technical glitches and the speeds promised are never reached and in wireless the packet loss is a bit more due to environmental disturbances and because of this heavy packet re transmission is done and this obviously slows down your ACTUAL download speed.

Hi, Tikona service is very very extremely poor in Bangalore. I had taken Tikona 600kbps connection (Rs. 800 per month) on 1st January 2010 in my area(Bannerghatta Road). Just after the next day of connection installation, I started facing long long downtimes. Usually Internet just worked hardly for 3-4 hours a day, rest 20 hours of downtime!!!! No need to tell, this was quite quite frustrating for me, because my earlier net connection was fine and I had got tikona connection just because their attractive tariff plan. I called their customer care so many time, but found everybody doing just a lip service. No body turned up even after 15 days of reporting the issue, then finally I got the service terminated on 15 Jan 2010.
After that I am quit a happy person, have got my older ISP connection restored, enjoying uninterrupted internet service but when ever I remember those 15 frustrating days, I mutely scold tikona and people at tikona 15 times.
Hope my review will be eye opener for those who are giving a thought to purchase tikona’s service.
The matter fact is Their technology is not sustainable and equipments are not reliable as of now, tikona guys can not solve customer’s problems even if they want to(though they dont want as well).
Go for tikona if and only if you want to make your life bizarre and want to ruin your peace of mind guarantied.

Hi All, My sincere advise to all those who wish to take the tikona internet connection.
******************PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM IT**** ********************
No one at tikona seems to know what it happening, the sales manager does not know who his reportees are, tech support does not know why a ticket is closed, and when i ask for a manager he is always busy, and customer care does not know if they can issue a refund when i haven’t even had a chance to use the connection 6 days after i got the connection and when i ask for a manager in the care dept. he is not on the floor… wow i wish all offices were like there’s. fortunately i did not disconnect my old internet connection and im still connected :-)
BEST OF LUCK…. FOR ALL THOSE WHO STILL CHOSE TO TRY IT.

Just got the tikona WiBro plan 599 UL about a week ago.

We found that giving pathetic speed of under 25Kbps downloads always as agianst their assured 240 Kbps during the day & 400 Kbps at night.

I’ve called these guys a number of times but still there’s no action on this….. We’ve got stuck with this ISP, I swear …!

Very pathetic service … I will not recommend this to anyone.. better go for Airtel, Reliance or BSNL …

Hi everybody,

This is for all to know that Tikona, Delhi is a complete fraud company.

I had applied for their internet connection service in Shastri Nagar, North Delhi Area-52.

Their representative came for the visit and told me that the connection can be installed and will work at my location. He asked for a cheque of Rs.500 which I gave in the name of ‘Tikona Services’.

They had promised that the connection will be installed within 7 days. After several calls and reminders, their technical representative came after 14 days, only to tell me that my location is out of range, and that they will not able to do the installation.

He promised that my cheque will be duly returned.

Ok, I said, and decided to wait for the cheque to return. In the meantime, I was told that Mr. Abhinav (M:9582797197) is the manager of this area for Tikona.

I called him up and was told that the cheque will duly be posted back to me.

Well, One month after, I checked my bank statement only to find that the cheque had been put into my bank and had got cleared!

Tikona is a simply fraud company that you MUST AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

And at no cost, ever give them a postpaid cheque, because they seem to be out to making fool of people, and just grab your money.

BEWARE of such companies who do not respond to customer greivances, and take your money for a ride.

I am facing a lot of connectivity and speed issues. The speed seems to be incosistent while browsing. Although i am in the speed plan of 2MBPS i hardly get 800KBPS consistently.
Tikona needs to look into their claims or come up with an action plan before customers get frustrated.

please don’t go for tikona service.it is a hopless service.has i have given them check for installation on apr 26 still no body have came to install the things.they r saying that they r not able to get the signals.i have given almost 5 times complaint on this they r telling that their person will call u back but still i have not received any call. the worst thing is their manager in bangalore is not having a valid landline number.

Guys this is the worst ISP i have ever experienced. They are totally un professional and the customer care is pathetic. They will run after you when u call them for a new connection but when u take one and face any issues in it they will not be interested in helping you in any way. They are the worst bunch of ppl. totally useless organisation. I had my worst experience with this ISP.

Taking a Tikona connection is really useless. I tried taking the connection. The only thing that happened promptly was taking the applilcation, the documents & the money for the deposit. After that they give you a good run around. I was given for about a months time. Then finally when i decided not to take it & asked for the refund of the money, they are still giving me a run around for it. Its again a more than a month and i dont have the depsoit money back, though they claim that the cheque has been sent to me 2 weeks ago. In two weeks the cheque can go around the world and come back too. My recomendation – AVOID TIKONA

My girl friend from bangalore has been using tikona network for last four months and i am very very unhappy with the kind of connectivity you have been providing. I am very sorry to say this i seriously dont feel the connectivity is no better than any other bad networks. I seriously dont understand what is going on. The network keeps going on and off let me know if there is any solution for this, please contact me via email. Hi there,

I have Tikona 299/- plan. As per the executive he has assured me that the bill will not be exceed more than 599/- But now the May bill amount is 630/- Please can any one will let me know the solution of this. I called up the costumer care at 18002094276, but I did’t get proper responce and support.

After paying the May month bill of amout 605/- by online, my net has become very slow. To navigate in to Login screen it is taking 15 to 20 minits.

I am planinng to take out this connection dut to no proper responce.

i am using tikona wi bro, it provides u with satisfactory services but their billing system is a bit tough they just do not accept cash can u believe it not even a single centre in an entire city, they demand for either a cheque which keeps lying in the atm drop box or tell u to go for net banking which sometimes ends up with problems.

I have requested for net connection from Tikona last month and his sales person Mr. Devendra visited my house at around 10.00 pm on 2nd June and filled in my form and took the post dated cheque from me as connection charges. Even after our request to check wheter we are getting the network or no he asked us to give the connection charges and told us that their engineer will visit us and we will get the connection in 2 days. After 4-5 days their engineer visited our place and tried to get the net connection but was not able to get it and he said that it wont function here and we should ask fro the refund. Since then i am trying to contact their sales person Mr devendra on his mobile but his number is out of coverage area. I also contacted sevral times to their customer care dept but i didnt get ant favourable response from them. I request all of you to remain away from Tikona and look for another option.

JUST CAME TO KNOW ABOUT THE TIKONA SERVICE A FEW DAYS BACK. SO I CALLED UP THE COMPANY TO KNOW ABOUT THE SERVICES AND CAN HE PROVIDE ME THE INTERNET AT HOME. HE SAID IT WOULD BE DONE IN JUST TWO DAYS. SO PEOPLES FROM FROM TIKONA TO COLLECT MY ID AND ADDRESS PROOF AND INSTALLATION CHARGES. THEY TOLD ME THAT I WOULD RECEIVE THE ‘USER ID’ AND ‘PASSWORD’ BY EVENING AND THEN ENGINEERS WILL COME AND INSTALL THE MODEM AND IT WILL START WORKING. UNFORTUNATELY I DIDN’T RECEIVE THE ‘USER ID’ AND ‘PASSWORD’ TILL NEXT DAY. WHEN I DID RECEIVE I HAVE TO INFORM THEM TO COME HOME AND DO THE NEEDFUL. ON DAY 1 AND 2 THESE PEOPLES COULDN’T TRACE THE SIGNALS. ON 3RD DAY (SUNDAY 11/7/2010) THEY CAME WITH THE PURPOSE OF RESOLVING THE PROBLEM ALTOGETHER. THEY SOMEHOW ESTABLISHED THE CONNECTION WITH THE TOWER AND LOGGED INTO MY ACCOUNT AND INFORMED THE CUSTOMER CARE THAT THE WORK HAS BEEN DONE AND THAT THEY WOULD LIKE TO CLOSE THE WORK ORDER. I TOO THOUGHT THAT THEY DONE IT AND SO I ASKED THEM TO CONNECT THE INTERNET USING MY NETGEAR WIFI MODEM WHICH I WAS ALREADY USING. THESE HAD NO IDEA ABOUT ALL THESE. BUT THEY SIMPLY TOOK MY MODEM TRIED TO WORK WITH IT BUT COULDN’T. IN THE PROCESS THEY MISCONFIGURATION MY WIFI AND MADE ITS UNDETECTABLE TO MY LAPTOP AND MADE IT USELESS. THEY ALSO DESTROYED MY IN BUILT LAPTOP MODEM WITH WAS NO LONGER WORKING PROPERLY. FURTHER MORE THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO CONNECT TO INTERNET VIA NORMAL LAN PORT. THEN THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY WILL COME IN THE EVENING WITH SOMEONE WHO KNOWS ABOUT ALL THESE AND LEFT. THEREAFTER NO ONE CAME. AND A BIG SHOOK CAME TO ME WHEN THE CUSTOMER CARE CALLED ME TO INFORM THAT MY SERVICES HAVE STARTED AND THAT I WOULD BE BILLED ON 11TH OF EVERY MONTH. I TOLD HER THAT HER INFORMATION IS WRONG AND THAT ALL MY SYSTEMS HAVE BEEN DISRUPTED BY THEIR SERVICE MEN AND NOW I AM NEITHER IN POSITION OF USING MY OLD BSNL CONNECTION NOR ANY OTHER SERVICES ,SHE CUT A VERY SORRY FACE AND WAS BUT COULD DO ANY THING BUT SAY THAT MY PROBLEM WILL BE RESOLVED SOON. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TIKONA TO ANYONE AND NOR WILL I ALLOW ANYONE OF THEM TO TOUCH MY SYSTEM AGAIN. I THINK I MUST FILE UP A CASE AGAINST THEM SO THAT I GET JUSTICE IN THE COURT OF LAW

Hi All,
I am tikona broad band user and i would like to share my experience.
TIKONA BROAD BAND SERVICE IS PATHETIC, AWFUL.
People first send the bill and then disconnect the service (broad band connection)
Had been to Tikona Office spoke to N number of people, assured all false promises but nothing works

If wind blows or even if it drizzles I lose the connection. I managed for a while, paid their bills even though the bill was never sent or received.
Walked up to their door steps explained, the service was active for a week. One of the Tikona officials asked me to ignore the bill (which was sent by SMS) and now they have disconnected the connection.

However, I still liked their practice of disconnecting the connection and then sending the bill.

I am Varinder Kumar , a customer of your internet services division/Broadband/WIBRO service. My customer no. is 1101480372. I have subscribed for 849UL plan after much persuation by your representative and with an assurance that under this particular the services are best as this plan is being sold as corporate plan along with a static IP.

The issues started from the day one itself , when no body came to install the router for five days, than after few days the service broke down. The complaint was attended on 3rd day and at that time only I was told about the installation of some Nano station at my roof. Anyway it worked fine for a week and now again the connectivity is so poor that even your http://www.tikona.in is not being displayed in the browser. I have logged the complaint at least thrice but not a single time it has been sorted out though the commitment of service was made at the time of sale to me.
This is a complete breach of trust and harassment of a customer.

I have just completed one painful month suffering from slow connectivity and many a times no connectivity at all. The issues are never sorted out. With this mail of mine I hereby request you to direct your personal to sort out the issues by tomorrow. If it is not possible for your employees/service engineers to stick to commitments made to a customer , I request you to kindly discontinue my services WEF tomorrow itself (31-07-10) and refund my balance amount.

I am a Tikona customer for the last five months. The connection was not stable since the starting day. I am having problems very frequently and they don’t correct it even if I complain. I am very unhappy at their customer care. Now I am experiencing the problem of not accessing some websites which I need regularly. I complained to them and they said it will be corrected within 6 hours. But it is not yet corrected even after 8 days. In my opinion Tikona is the worst service I ever used. My suggestion is don’t go for Tikona.

It’s a fraud company with pathetic customer service, actually no service. Once money paid it becomes a night mare you will not get back your money. All promises made during presales are hoax .so don’t make a mistake of paying them .Don’t even consider them as your service provider cause you are falling into trap.

Dealing with their customer service is one hell of an experience. You will curse the day you got linked with “TIKONA”. It’s that Bad trust me. I am still cursing that Day as I type.

All in all it is a fraud hoax company with nobody responsible and bothered from lower to top management. A well wisher ALARMING those who are considering to go for TIKONA. what a pain in the ASS.

I have deleted all of Arun babu’s spam and put restrictions in place so he doesnt pollute this place any more.
I have personally met the top brass of Tikona at their head office in Mumbai including the CEO and they are all such a professional team but its a shame that they are not getting very good customer feedback.. may be initial hiccups! Hopefully things will get better for Tikona and Tikona’s customers.

I have never used their services and I wonder if they provide broadband service in the area I live in here at New Delhi. Will give them a call some time and see if they can hook me up with a connection and will see for myself how their connection performs.

On the next day when i called you customer service dept to verify my billing amount he told me that we didn’t wave off your amount & this issue has already esclated to the billing dept last month & we haven’t receive any reply.He said still you have to pay Rs1500.00, when i informed him about the call,which i was received,that guy said sorry sir ,that call was not from the company side.

You guys are playing games with me & i tried that number & that number is continously switched off.

I Don’t know why you guys are are doing this & now i am pretty sure that rest of the customers are facing the same issue

However on May month your coll. agency executive told me that they have stopped taking cash payments & i am sorry to say that that time i didn’t have Bank account, because i am student & i was not able to make may month payment & i have already informed your customer service rep. that i will not make payments for the may month,give me 15 days to open a bank account.
On 01st june 2010 my connection has stooped by your company & on 3rd june i called your rep. that i am not able to log in in my system or my internet is not working, that guy told me that we haven’t received the payement from your end , so that you are facing this problem & whenever you will make the payment we will restart the connection.
as per my understanding or my calculation my billing amount should be 550.00+ 25 Late payemts charges for that particular month,because i have a unlimited plan of RS550.00 per month. When i got cheque book from my bank on 22 june 2010 & i called your C.S. E ( Customer service executive ), he told me that Sir you have to pay RS.1289.00. When i asked why should i pay 1289.00 that guy told me that this amount is for May & June month & i told that i didn’t use your connection in june month,still he is saying you have to pay & i am sending this issue to the billing dept. & they will call you within one day. From 3rd june 2010 till date 09 sep 2010 i have your 12 request number & your C.S.E always said me the same wording ( You have to pay & i am sending this issue to the billing dept. & they will call you within one day. ) & i haven’t received any call & letter from your company & yesterday i have received a bill from your NO.1 company in Broad band connection & amount is showing as 1341.00 & i was not able to understand that my connection was stopped by your company on 01june 2010, why should i pay the bill for june,july,august,sept..
If this kind of service you will provide to your customer’s, I do’t think that this company will maintain their wonderful image in competitive market & i don’t have only this connection. I also have 2-3 coneection in shastri nagar from your company.
I am sorry to say that i chose your company connection.

this is the worst network provider. I strongly recommend not to go for tikona network. The speed is very worst. In the starting they will show that the Network works at full speed. Afterwards, you will know the real thing that will happen after taking this connection. I have taken 256 kbps connection, I paid for 3 months total 1925 rs/-. My total first week it worked for 4-5 hours. I made so many complaints to check the speed. Finally after calling many times, they came to check the connection speed. they told there was not problem. I told about the download speed is 19-20 kbps. They told it normal for this connection. I really felt pity on my self. My airtel mobile gprs download speed is better than this. I strongly advice not to take this connection.

Hi all,
I am not going to tell you a different story. I am also going through with the trauma given by Tikona Wibro. I purchased this connection in Oct 2010. The very next day I received the ID n password, and was informed that would get a technician next day. I stated got the tech and he tried to install the hardware. It took 2 days to install the hardware (amateur techs). Then it worked for only ½ an hour. I just got the chance to change the ID and password after that it has not worked so far. The techs do come and when they come they play blame game (e.g. it was due to the last tech or hardware faulty). Now, they babbled something else that it is due to the lane card (computer). It worked and was working fine with the Spectramind.
So, this is my experience so far, and it is up to you. But I would not recommend it to even my enemy.

Tikona is a shit Internet Service provider, dont take this else you will regret your decision. the speed promised by them will never be delivered.
their billing is totally shit. they will hand you over wrong bills and will disconnect the internet even before the bill is generated, with out information any what so ever to the customer. when its disconnected they will take ages atleast minimum 2 months to reconnect by then you would have already logged in 50 cases with their customer support, they being pethatic they dam dont understant any tech terminologies. they are one big pain in the ass to deal with. entire service team, billing team, customer support team. all fools. Anyway but we are facing main problem is that they don’t have any system to send the representative to collect the payment & we have to drop that in ICICI drop box. But how we will come to know wether you received the payment or not. Coz these people send message for non payment but doesn’t send any message that they received the payment. Just wanted to let you know, that never go for tikona service. When I purchased, i asked them if i am going to shift to new place, what would be the charges for the shifting. They said as null. but now I am asking them for shifting by giving request to customercare, they are asking Rs. 250/- for shifting connection. So there is difference between words before u purchase and after u purchase the connection. So saying all to spread a word about the service, And also the service is so good.

Recently I have started with Tikona broad band and very much satisfied. More than the speed and connectivity but the quick response from customer care and service engineer. Before that I was using Tata Photon+ and paying heavy amount per month but never seen more 70kbps speed.

MTNL Broadband is good in terms of their monthly charges, however it is not the best considering the speed offered by them but they certainly are giving stiff competition to their other rivals.

I have been using MTNL Broadband in Mumbai since past 3 years and initially when they had started the Plan Unlimited199 for monthly charge of Rs. 200/-, they got many new customers for broadband and after a year the plan was terminated. It was a good plan for students and people who seldom use the net as it was cost effective. I hope this plan is re-introduced in the interest of all broadband users.

Many service providers are coming up with plans just to mint money and there is no benefit for the broadband users. Despite of paying for monthly broadband charges, one also has to pay for rental charges which I think is unnecessary considering there is no service given at all for which they charge anywhere between Rs.250/- to Rs.500/- . We have to bear with hopeless speeds, exorbitant charges and poor customer service. Tata, Reliance, Tikona, Sify, Hathway, Airtel , BSNL, MTNL lure users initially with minimum plan packages which are reasonable and once they have plenty of users the plan is terminated and new plans are introduced with higher rates.

I hope these service providers realize that exploiting a user beyond their limits will backfire on them sooner or later and eventually they will lose their customers. I expect to see some good plans from all of these in the interest of all broadband users.

Dear Sir,

I was promised 600 kbps speed and i opted for it on 26, and till today your service personal has come here at least 5 times but could not get 600 kbps. I have discontinued hathway because i felt i could get more speed compared to 512 kbps. but now i feel i have been cheated or something is not correct with my connection.

The problem is like this: once you shutdown and start up the first 3 minutes you may get 600 or 615 kbps after which it drops down to 100 or 125 kbps.

If your technical staff is not able to rectify the same – I request you to return the full amount I paid, immediately and take back your box, above all I have been put into lot of trouble and many hours of sitting with your staff.

Please treat this matter as most urgent, and do the needful immediately.

I have also attached the speed test conducted for your reference.

I have recently start using Tikona from 7th feb 2011 and paid a full payment of 1267 against my unlimited plan but that infact later on i discovered was not an unlimited plan a fake plan to squeeze the customer. From 15th feb till date i had been told that i had crossed the usage limit and my speed becomes painfully even it was earlier a SLOW stress as well. Now when i called customercare they are the most useless and fake persons to the company as they keep me hanging atleast 28min and just did not answer my query. when i check my session history it was totally fake and incorrect data according to my use. I am feeling so much stressful and disturbed as i have to complete my projects. Now i want to know is there any possible way to SUE the company and ofcourse TRAI should banned this FAKE company.

My word… Don’t opt for Tikona. The only reason why I say this is because the customer service is VERY BAD. I wanted to get Tikona connection. So I contacted the right people to get a connection. They got a fee of rupees 500 from me and said that I will get a connection within two days.
They came for the installation, but I was told that in my area, I cant have the connection (due to some technical reasons) . Okay Fine… but what about the amount I paid. Well, I was told that they will refund the full amount through cheque. (good temporarily)

There came the actual problem. After many days of calls and emails, I finally got the cheque but to see that they had changed my name entirely (from VISWESH to VIGNESH). Such careless people!!?

So I waited again. Sent mails after mails and highlighting my name in the mail so that they don’t mess it up again. But the pathetic customer service, could not even get my name right in the email(where I had already mentioned my name in bold letters). How can you be cool then. Now it has been about 6 months and I still have not received the money. You may think.. its after all 500 but what I see is the very poor customer service for a small problem as mine. I also work with customers, and I have learnt that customer service is of utmost important. It have been very disappointing that they treated me like this. I hope this is read by the people concerned.

Dumbest service provider I have ever seen till date. Firstly their sales representative said many misleading statements and convinced me to buy the connection then they took more than a week to install the connection. U won’t believe but their software engineer took 8 hours to get the connection right in my laptop. And now its been two weeks that I am officially using the connection but their is no speed and I told them I want wifi but they installed lan saying we will install wifi next day. But I m still waiting for that next day. well i use Bsnl 2g service in UP i have cracked my SIM now i get 300kbps speed at rs 51 for 1gb validity is 15 days coz my usage is around 10gb mothly so i have to recharge it many times but speed is awesome …there is a minor problem …when bsnl server is down ..it didn’t even give 1kpps speed and in every months there server gets down for 3hurs to a 1 day …other things r just great well i won’t tell you how to crack a sim ..but i can you hints you need a s60v5 HSDPA compatiable Nokia mobile like 5800
,5230 etc nokia pc suite n on win 7 u need an hot fix called kb925681 a bsnl 2 g sim (cracked one ) some little hacking….n u r done …its 300-350kbps …sorry can’t tell u the whole crack coz its taken me 3 years to invent this…

The services of Tikona are worst. If any any one ask me about rating for this company then i will give them(negative marking) -10 out of 10. I did more than 40 complantes to their customer care & 3-4 complant to Nodal officer but i got responce for first one only after 04 days of complante. After all i did give a request for disconnection; now i am very happy after disconnection.
The Great thing is that if your connection is not working & you call to customer care, they will say you that your connection is working properly; if will coplante then they will told you that you get an SMS within 06 hours but, i never recives a single SMS from them & they will tell you that within 24 hour we will solve your problem, but the will reach at your hoe after 3-4 days normaly in spacial cases it will take more than a week.

At the time of taking connection sales executive begged me like hell to take Tikona instead of Reliance connection and offered me 4 months free if i pay 2000+Rs [i dont remember the exact number but its 2k+] for 1 mbps unlimited connection where i need to pay 1099 from 5th month.

After a month i started getting calls from tikona customer support and they started harassing me and my family to pay the bill! They forced me to get there sales representative number who gave me the connection and asking me about his whereabouts!

Tikona customer support is too worse , talking hard like customers are there slaves.

WARNING: NEVER BUY TIKONA!!!!!!!!

The officers do not bother to pick the phone. To add insult to injury they send me SMS to drop my monthly cheque in any ICICI Bank. I do not know if Tikona even exists. It could very well be a ghost enterprise out to cheat customers

I am sorry to state that this company is not providing proper service. I had taken their connection of plan Rs512/- pm in april 11 and since then am feeling connectivity problem. I am residing in an apartment on top floor and the best part is that the company has installed a connection signal tower on my roof and have connected me with wire direct to my system. I mean there is no wire less connection or attachment in between, even then they could not provide regular connectivity. In stead, there tech persons always make childish statements like sir, total system is down, your explorer is corrupt etc. I suggest pl. do not opt this connection.

Same worst experience… I got the connection recently(Aug 2011), Tower is not even 50 meters from my home.
After blasting the ASM of Tikona I managed to get the connection.
Not even 10 days used, not downloaded even 1GB of data(Promised upto 3GB 2MBPS speed) speed came to 50 to 50 KBPS. Never go to Tikona.

let every one be advised that TIKONA wireless is a pain in the neck affair. My story is a bit different and i advice all the troubled people to follow what i did. First of all contact the nodal officer of your state , send him a few mails and keep proof of them(get the mail ID from the help line). This might make things move in the right direction (dont bet on it). If they fail to solve your problem then send a legal notice to the head office and the local office with RPAD. If they still fail to respond ,then file a case in the consumer forum , which is what i did in mysore and I am very proud to say that in a matter of 8 months my case was settled and the court has ordered TIKONA to pay back my money with interest. Not only that the consumer court has ordered for damages as well (penalty). Now I am very happy that in a small way I have taught TIKONA a lesson. I hope many will do the same in our own interest to stop being taken for a ride. If required I can provide help/advice in my small way if required by anybody. I have taken aplan of 699rs. plan recently. in starting days I was getting 80KB/S downloading speed as they promised me to give this speed as per thier tarrif plan. But now I am getting 15-20KB/S downloading speed. I know you all currepted not going to do anything ,I’ll be getting this slow downloading speed so I can do just one thing that is I will leave this tikona.

Do’t Take Tikona broad band in Bangalore region, its very worst broad band speed and no customer support. For new connection its better, but unsubscribe of your broad band its very headache. The billing date also not from the your taken time means eg: New connection is installed on 15-09-2011 but your payment generates on 26-09-2011 your losing 15days connection.

I suggest to all Do’t take the Tiiiiiiiikona internet broadband service…………………………….

One of the worst service i have ever used…
it is so frustrating to use this service.

A executive came to my home and collected the cheque and the cheque got credited on to there account with in 5day and no one turnedup untill 7 days and one fine day a engineer comes with an antenna and he says that there is not connectivity at my home, but the person who collected the cheque informed that he can see the antenns from my home and he promise that i will be getting a minimum of 150Kbps of download speed.

after this a person come to my home for providing me the demo and he confirmed that there is no signal at my home and the refund payment would take minimum of 30 working days and it is also not confirmed.

Never use “Tikona Wireless Broadband ” and the customer care people they know only once work “Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you” and they will provide the other contact number stating that they are not the correct person to contact and they will ask us to send e-mail and no one will respond to the e-mail.

TIKONA BROADBAND – WORST BROADBAND SERVICE PROVIDER IN INDIA
The story starts on 16 Nov 2011. It was a black day of my life when I thought to get Tikona broadband. Sales man visited to my house and given a plan to me. The salesman gave a demo to me and shows me a download speed of 480 kbps. I was very happy to see that speed. After 2 days engineer installed the broadband at my premises. It was working but I was getting a download speed of 40-50 kbps. I took a plan of 2 Mbps in which downloadable speed should be 256 Kbps but I was getting only 40-50 Kbps speed. On 20th nov 2011 when I returned from office and tried to connect to internet, it was not working then I checked that the connecting was not coming in LAN wire. I raised a complaint to customer care. After doing so much follow up calls after four days they sent an engineer to check this.
Their engineers are also the worst in the country. Their engineer did not inform me anything. When I called him to ask about the problem then he informed me (I was lucky that engineer picked my phone, generally they do not pick phone calls) that Tikona device is stolen from the roof. I was shocked to hear this. No body else then Tikona can use this device so why this device was stolen from the roof. After doing a research on net I came to know that it is a very common thing that Tikone devices are stolen. These devices are stolen by Tikona persons then they ask customers to pay for the new device. This is their business.
After this I again called to customer care and informed this. The customer care executives are also very rude. They asked me to file a FIR and send them a copy of it. I was not ready for it. When I forced them then they agree to install a new device but nothing happened. No one installed the new device. Finally after so much fight they installed the new device but I never got satisfaction with the service.
Again after one month same thing happened. The tikona device again got stolen and called to customer care to install the new device. They took one to install the new device. I daily call to customer care related to speed and internet issue. Finally on 31/1/2011 I took a wise decision and get the connection disconnected. By this way one can only get rid of TIKONA broadband.
I request the people of India not to take TIKONA broadband in any case otherwise you have to suffer. I would also like to request TIKONA to close this company and make peoples life happy. GOD will bless them.

I stay in BTM 1st Stage, Bangalore.
Taken Tikona connection a month back. I have no words to explain the stupid net provider by name Tikona.

It has one of the worst Customer care service along with pathetic speed. They cheat you in all the ways possible. No proper billing system, demo person takes extra than usual where ever possible, attaches the nano receiver on other building saying signal is low, full fluctuation of signal, have false tikona speed test web page which shows fabricated speeds. Upload speed will be too low all the times.

You regret the connection if you take it. (Only if you are in Marathahalli, Bangalore it is little better)

I’m fed up witih Tikona customer care.

I had requsted to keep my internent connection in safe custody and customer care executive forgot the same. Later bill generated for the entire month for full amount. I would have called at least 25 times to resolve this issue. Still it is not resolved. Every time I would be promised that someone from tikona would call me or my problem would be resolved today before 4 PM, like that. A series of false promises. I fed up with their customer care and stopped calling them. I am waiting my connection to be disconnnected as I do not want to make the full month’s amount without using their internent connection.

Other than the worst customer care service, rest all things can be considered satisfactory. At least not bad for the amount what we are paying for their internet connection.

My tikona internet connection is very fast and i have never encountered a network outage till date. The customer care is also very prompt and helpful.

I recommend everyone to buy a tikona connection if they are looking to change their connection.

Tikona is the worst connection i ever had. They are lacking in every aspect. I am under 2mbps plan but i am getting only 1ookbps speed. In spite of lot of complaints there is no one to listen and they are least bothered with your complaints. The billing is pathetic if you want to experience the same please opt for Tikona

Worst service i have ever seen, last week only i took tikona 2mbps connection, first 4 days it was good stable speed in browsing and downloads, later started problems just to open google it was taking 30 seconds, now frequently server is down, many times it will not show login page to, and some times it wil take more than 3 to 4 minutes to open login page itself. i tried to call customet care so many times, always waiting time is more than 5 min and some times it wil say all executives are busy and it automatically gets disconnected.
I am facing problem from 10th aug, after I login in tikona page and if I browse new page, again I am redirected to tikona login page. same problem was there for 2 days days, now every 5 to 10 min it is asking login again and could not use net and could not talk to customer care too so i mailed to customercare@tikona.in regarding the issues, but till now no reply to mail or not calls too(have registered for call back twice in tikona customer care number)

Hi Friends, I was using Tikona internet services & truly speaking that was the biggest mistake I made.
I was using “ADULM4096″, which says 4 Mbps speed, but the average seems to be somewhere 2 Mbps or less, Although on some of my lucky days, speed went as high as 2.5 Mbps.

Their internet services were most of time down & on calling the customer care, the usual answer was always the same: Tower maintenance.

I disconnected my connection on last march, but I am still having a hard time to convince their customer care that I have no dues left, even though after getting a signed full settlement letter, i have to run to their individual departments to show the proof that I am no longer using their services.

Guys, please don’t just see the cheap prices, look for the value. For Tikona, I will say, It is just a hype & all fuss..

Don’t do the same mistake, which I did.. Look for some reliable internet service provider, even though you have to shell out a little extra bucks, but you will excellent connection, customer service & not to forget, peace of Mind…….

They will make ur life hell.
I disconnected 6 months ago also they took their device.
But now they are threatening me that they will file a case against me, even i cleared all my dues.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, DONT GO FOR TIKONA,

Tikona The Looters and makes FUN of customers
Beware Of These Cheaters and Looters…………..
One day, on 17th Dec, I got no network. Had a red cross symbol. So reported complaint through mobile. Waited for a day. Meanwhile checked my connection on our apartment terrace. Found that someone removed a Tikona’s receiver device, through which they have given 2-3 connections in our apartment. All other companies devices were there. So thought that, Tikona service engg. must have removed this device.
And I got call from service engineer on 19th Dec. I told the reason of no network so that he can bring that device to fit. But reply was shocking. He told me that, device is stolen. So I need to file FIR for that. However I told him that, this device is not mine, its of Tikona. Tikona has provided 2-3 connections through this device. Then he told me that device is stolen from our apartment terrace, so I have to file FIR. Then I told him that, there is TIkona’s server also on our terrace, and if that get stolen, then?
he had no reply, he asked me to contact Tikona call center.
So I contacted Tikona call center on 19th Dec, Reply was same and my questions were same. Hence finally call center guy raised new technical complaint in the system and told me that I will be called from Tikona’s Tech Department.

On 23rd Dec(yasterday) I got a call, asking do you want to disconnect Tikona? I was shocked. I asked him who told you, that I want to disconnect? He replied, no one told him that and this may be mistakenly generated by system.

From all this experience, I found that Tikona is not in any mood, to resolve my problem, by fitting their receiver device through which they have provided 2-3 connections( and can provide around 10 connections) in our apartment. whenever I call their Customer care/Service Engineer they create frustration with funny answers.

Looks that, these devices are stolen by Tikona persons then they ask customers to pay for the new device, as no body else than Tikona can use this device. This is their business.
