Thread: Ghajini

Ghajini is a much awaited film for many people people around the world! The film has been adapted from a Tamil film Ghajini.
The film stars Aamir Khan, Jiah Khan and Asin Thottumkal. The theme or story you can call is of a protagonist who suffers from memory loss and amnesia and someone who is seeking revenge for the murder of his wife!

This is a film which has always been in talks and for the good reasons which is why its highly waited by many people. The shooting for this film began in May 2007 and is now completed. Th release date for this movie in on 25th December 2008.

Being it an Aamir Khan will everyone has high hopes for it, as all his film a very good, although he does very few films these days those of which he does do of the best quality and get many awards!

I am die-hard fan of Aamir... Nice to know that its finally releasing... We need someone like u for Hollywood movies section too...

Only thing is I don't really like the Title of this movie... It reminds me of Gazgamini...

Thats a turn off for me... Memento sucked big time... I was sleeping in half of the movie... I just hope Aamir has done some good job... and made this movie worth his class...

The tamil Ghajini was very good,except for the fighting scenes which are abundant bakwas in southindian films..

The name "Ghajini" (tamil Movie) was inspired from Mohamed Gazini..Mohamed Gazini attacked Indian 16 times & at the 17 time he was successful. Even in the movie Surya (Tamil version of Ghajini) tries to find the murder of his wife several times & atlast he is successful & its same in Hindi also. I watched Ghajini (Tamil) 1st Day 1st Show & watched it 4 times in theatre.I also have a DVD copy of that. Its one of the best movies of Surya & in Tamil.I also watched the Memento...Awesome Screenplay.Its one of the few hollywood movies I like.1 would not see many movies with that kind of screenplay.I have been waiting for Aamir's Ghaini for a very quite time (like other). Loookig to watch the movie on 1st day...

Yah... I knew scenes were in reverse order... 1 of my friend told me before I watched it... but I simply found it boring... and may be I was too tired when I watched it...

Being the biggest fan of Aamir, I watch each of his movie in theaters atleast once... I saw Mangal Pandey too... despite of warnings... But yeah, U've lowered my expectations... I might like it actually...

most original and mind-bendingly interesting movies ever.

It's like solving a puzzle where at the end you have a
bigger puzzle in your hands.

Yeah...Memento is not time pass movie....Its a good movie with the interesting screenplay...Awesome screenplay...As the hero doesn't know what has happened 15 min ago,& we the audience wont know what will happen next...

The discussions on this thread has increased my expectations from the movie.
I always believe that the screenplay is more important than the story.Even if you have heard the story before, good screenplay would hold your interest in the movie.

Being a great admirer of Aamir and his work,I believe we should be ready for a great movie after TZP...

Mangal Pandey was not so bad Mohit....

I remember I even I saw "Mela" in the theaters on the first day...LOL....

This movie will be a sure hit....Eagerly waiting for the music & the movie...The music is by AR Rahman....The music is gonna rock.....

I heard the movie is takin so long because Aamir refuses to use a wig for a scene and so is waitin for his hair to grow back.

Shooting was over....but Aamir felt he could do some of the scenes more better...so shooting those scene again...He is a perfectionist.

ah but ill say he couldve been content wit the wig, he's delayin the whole team now...

I am with you on this.Quality do require lots of patience and hard work.

I read somwhere that it took him 9 hours to select the cap for his character Raghu Jetli in the movie " Dil hai ki maanta nahin"

One more example of perfection....
