Dostana stars Abhishek Bachchan (AB), John Abraham (JA) and Priyanka Chopra (PC). It is been directed by Karan Johar's assistant, Tarun Mansukhani. The film has been entirely shot in Miami.It is scheduled for release on November 14, 2008.

About the plot,this is a story about Abhishek,a male nurse and John Abraham,a photographer,Priyanka Chopra,a fashion journalist and an apartment. AB and JA bump into each other while looking for an apartment to rent and coincidentally head towards the same apartment. However, they are both thrown out because the owner wants to rent the apartment to girls only since her niece stays in that apartment alone. AB gets an idea that if JA and he pretend to be lovers, then the owner will agree to let them stay. Even though their plan works, the boys are in a predicament as they both fall in love with the owner’s niece, PC, who thinks they are gay....

Already the songs Desi Girl & Shut Up & Bounce are already chart busters.

really, that Adam Sandler movie. I have a small question though.....
when is bollywood going to stop stealing plots and make something unique.

even "phir hera pheri", "malamaal weekly" r also stolen..........

I am really distressed at all the copying. Can't
you come up with something original?

Also it is OK to be influenced or pick a story but
it should be mentioned. Just pretending it is not a
copy is the worst.

what is worse is that......... they copy from hollywood, they copy from bollywood itself, they even copy korean films.....

i have seen many forgotten british films and was shocked to find them mercilessly copied by theese idiots. the amount of time they spend in stealing , if used in creative manner would have resulted marvelously.

a song is meant to be a work of art. it is to be created, not manufactured. yesterday i listened to that fine song from EMI(not sure of the name), and even i found out that the tune was stolen. One good song gets released and the films album consists of 5 remixed versions of that song. then there a r dj this, vj that.........
the whole damn industry is disgusting.

Dat guy "Pritam" is number 1 copycat.All of his songs are copied.None are his own tunes.I hate him.

its not about one or two copycats.....

people dont understand when i say , i dont like bollywood.

i say it because i dont want to see the biggest film industry of my country in the hands of guys like theese. Just look at them, all heroes r sons of heroes. And i dont even want to bring up what the actresses do to get noticed. I LOVE FILMS, i can never stand theese.
They make acting seem like a genetic disease.

Dostana looks like a really good movie, something good to watch after a long time, but haven't had the chance to watch it yet, well i do hope to see it soon. All the three main actors in the film look really good!

What was the outcome of the film anyone know?

I watched the movie yesterday...
I will call it Good movie..but won't attract you to watch it again and again
Truely movie was not greatest entertainer...
Some situations/scenes of the movies are really hilarious but on the other hand there was time that it was looking boring

Overall I m not impressed

I'll give it **1/2 star but can be watched once

yeh i saw a scene from the film on TV, where some roses drop and AB and John bump into each other, good acting from both of them!
