Great thread Preeti! As I've mentioned earlier... Aamir is one actor whoz among my fav... I can watch his movies anytime... My all time fav. movie is Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikander... It was the movie which inspired me to become a cycle racer back then!

I think Aamir Khan is an actor who gets better by the day! Each film of his gets better and the films actually pass on a message to people, which is good!

On a serious note, yes he is one of the finest actor we have today.The one point I like about him is his quality of getting into the skin of the character.
Unlike other actors, he lives his characters.He is not Aamir Khan in his films.He is
ACP Rathod in Sarfrosh, Raghu Jaitely in Dil Hai ki Manta nahin, Sanjay Lal(One of my fav. charatcer) in Jo jeeta.....and so on.
I am a fan of his.
I remember that, he was the first person who started with "only one movie per year".
That time actors used to sign a lot of movies, as a buffer if one their movies flopped then the others would help. Pooja and Mahesh Bhatt had said that " What happens if his one movie flops ?". Mahesh had critisized him a lot. To him Aamir khan had retorted "If Mahesh had thought so much about his own career it would have helped him"
He was critizised a lot. But after seeing the quality of his work a lot of others have started to follow his routine. Now almost all actors are doing selective work. ( They too are asking for a finished script )
And he was also the first to accually ask for a finished script before he signed the movie.
What I like most about him is that, he never answers his critics. He just does his job and moves on. Lets people talk about him but doesnt retaliate at all.
I would like to know how many people here liked his BODY in Ghajini ???

Rakh and Holi are two films which i have not heard of, where they good?

Raakh was release immediately after QSQT. The movie ends with Aamir attending the wedding of his lover
Holi is about college hoolligans, It was an art kind of a movie. A group of students rag a guy who betrays them, nanga kar kar ke marte hain usko.
A very dark set up.
ha ha ha...good reply by Aamir.Once Mahesh Bhat remarked that Aamir takes the acting too seriously.Aamir prepares so much for the role as if he is trying to diffuse a bomb.I beleive had Mahesh shown even 25% of that kind of seriousness he would have been a great director.

I have not seen either.I would love to see Holi.It was directed by Ketan Mehta.This was Adult Aamir's debut film.Aasuthosh Gowarikar also acted in this movie.
While searching on Google I found the before doing Holi adult Aamir featured in a movie 'Subah Subah'.Now that's a news to me as well.See the report

He is very smart. He has never mentioned anything about it ever. Tum ko yeh kaha se mil gaya ??
Mahesh never wasted time in script he just pick up any Hollywood action movie and indianised it and made it. He sometimes copied it shot to shot.
Only his earlier movies were originals otherwise he has made most of his movies from Hollywood hits.
