Thread: Jail

After Fashion Madhur Bhandarkar is back again with his new venture, and this time his film is called Jail which will star Neil Nithin Mukesh and will be released on May 1st 2009!
As you can tell the film is about life behind the bars in jail, and this time Madhur wants to the audience the truth regarding the jail and criminal justice system that is in India!
Neil has studies many films which helped him in performing his role and understanding his character and he also visited the jail to get the feel!

wow....this is a definate watch as well......!!! a madhur bhandarkar movie n plus its got neil nitin mukesh.....i m sooo in love wid him.....

Like i mentioned in the thread 'New York', i havent seen any of Neil's films, but im sure that him starring in a Madhur Bhandarkar will make him a popular person, as Madhur Bhandarkar does justice to all his stars in his movies and gives them good and important roles!

Looking forward to this one too!

No Aashaka i have not seen Jhony Gaddar, is it a good movie to watch, it didn't look as good that's why never really took any interest in it!

ya thats a nice movie which keeps a hold on u inbetween the whole movie i dont want to post here the plot of the movie coz u hav not seen this.......but i won't found Neil as an guud actor in that movie.......

i also heard about this movie when fashion released ... i also heard that this movie might be an inspiration or remake - whatever u call it from the CLASSICAL HOLLYWOOD FLICK -> THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION - not quite sure about this though ... but i think if he tries to make a bollywood version of it ... it wont be successfull ...

yes preeti neil did get an award for the movie......!!!!

i sumwht like neils looks as well as his acting was really good in the movie....

:lol: ... how can u expect a prison brk movie from madhur ... it would be related to the life in jail ... all the complications abt it ... but if it is copied from shawshank ... then the prison brk part may come into play

Inspired is just another deified name for copying

Though its a copy, but his movies are worth to watch. His films are always based on true stories and gives out some messages.

its not a copy for sure ... he doesnt generally copy movies ... i just spoke about a rumor heard about it being inspired from shawshank redemption.

this movie never got released as per scheduled and if its right this time, then the release date for the movie Jail is 23rd October 2009.

hopefully...........
