Thread: Aamir or Shahrukh: who is better?

i would say that aamir is definately in a league of his own. he is awesome with all the diff types of roles he has played (rangeela, DCH, Andaz apna apna, lagaan, JJWS, sarfarosh..........the list goes on). but i would surely like to see a flick with both of em starring in it. Also one with aamir and Big B........Aamir rules..........lookin forward to "the rising" and "rang de basanti".

I would rate Aamir ahead of SRK.SRK might be the bahshaah of bollywood.But Aamir is a fine actor.SRK may have a very good overseas market,his films may do well..but when it comes to acting...Aamir is the best..

SRK always plays the same kind of role...romantic,NRI types...But Aamir has played a handful of character roles...

Shahrukh - Same acting...same roles
Same old "Adam's apple going up & down"

Don't think both of them together in a film is going to happen.

one of my fine art teacher planning to create a 3D short in which we can c both of them........i hope everything will go fine.........

Acting wise its tough to choose between two... As both are masters of their game...

But if u talk about creativity, Aamir is incomparable...

lol... aamir is master of this girl game too... he has done countless romantic movies...
whereas srk has also done many non-romantic roles...

its the lack of creativity in srk's choice of roles which makes people think that srk can do only romantic roles...

or better put srk goes by public demand...

no... I mean SRK can do any role in this world... But he does similar kind of roles cuz thats what people go to watch for...

but of late he is re-inventing himself as an actor.with roles like chake-de and rnbdj,i think he has proven a lot about his calibre!!

may be but still SRK is not very suitable as police man and military role i think that kind of role is specially match for Akshay or Sunny Deol

his acting in chak de is not that great.....acting is all about be in the character.......nd he was smiling a bit on many places where it wont be needed.....may be it was directors demand but we can she the shadow of SRK in these smiles as his trademark........

well, i, like almost everybody else believe srk was great in chak de!! although my fav actor is hrithik,still i believe srk was great in chak de.

I don't have a problem with that... Every great Indian actor has had a unique style of his own... with which we can identify him...
be it dileep kumar, devanand, rajesh khanna or amitabh bachchan...

There is a dearth of trademark style actors in bollywood now... I'm glad that atleast SRK is keeping that trend alive...

i just go by who makes me believe in the theme of the movie!!

so u comparing this cheap guy with the legands.........can u explain what kind of treadmarks all they have just to have fun.......i know they have trademarks but they know when to show them to public so public can enjoy it......BTW ag_prasun i guess we r not fighting we r just discussing

no i dont think that he was getting all the public for what.........he actully have nothing thats why he smokes a lot to get out of tenses......

Man, SRK isn't a cheap... His each movie is a block-buster... Just the kind of hits those legends gave during their respective careers...
