Wanted to watch Dev D ova the weekend but cud not.....pls post ur reviews on the movie.......its got good review....

Dev (Abhay Deol) is the son of a rich industrialist. He is packed off to London by his strict father who senses his growing fondness with Paro (Mahi), a girl from a less affluent family than theirs. When Dev comes back from London now as a grown up youth, his love for his childhood sweetheart is in fact much multiplied. But he is not allowed to marry her because of differences in cast and status. While Dev is sent to Delhi, Paro is married off to a rich but aged widower who has kids. Not one to take on responsibilities for his acts Dev digs deep into drugs and alcohol for salvation. He stays away from home but his finances still come from a doting father.

An escapist instinct and a massive ego leads him into an aimless search for lost love that pushes him further into an abyss of darkness and hopelessness soaked in self pity. During these times he meets a pros Chanda (Kalki). What follows next in Dev’s journey towards self destruction forms the rest of the plot!

Aiming it to be a modern day version of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay’s classic novel Devdas Anurag Kashyap’s Dev D has ended up being not everyone’s cup of entertainment. With many things more appalling than appealing, Dev D may evoke irritation and bad reaction from fans of the earlier versions and the novel.

The movie has got very good reviews from the critics. i badly want to see this movie...

My friends saw this movie last night and they said its rocking one and must watch kind of movie. I really don't have any clue about the plot and cast of movie and even don't know how the poster looks like. I think will go for movie this weekend

My friends saw it last night too... And they went berserk after watching it... They said all audience laughed crazily... Its kinda spoof of original Devdas... :lol: I know almost all the story now... Highly recommended to watch it while one is high!

I might go to watch it in couple of days!

Being a creation by 'Anurag Kashyap' is has to be a different movie.Will watch it by this weekend.

Alright saw this movie but didn't write any review (Deep one) cause if i would you guys will loose the charm of movies...

Abhay deol at his BEST.. I'm Big fan of him saw all the movies of abhay, absolute natural acting and Dev.D is no exception.. I even say that he's on the verge of perfection... Won't write much about story because you all know the plot. Guy loves girl, Somehow they didn't go along so guy turn himself to daaru and drugs.. Meet another girl, fell in love with her.. The ending is good.. Loads of practical jokes and loads of "F" word.. that's why "A" certificate

There's one dialogue which Dev say to paaro

"Main tumse pyaar karna chahta hoon"

Paaro reply
"Main tumse pyaar karta hoon" yeh to suna tha "Main tumse pyaar karna chahta hoon" yeh kya hai.

Dev again
It means i want to make love with you... Simple

And they start...lol

there was nothing in those videos....just normal....

i am very eagerly waiting to watch this movie ... the ratings are superb everywhere ... the promos are exciting ... will wait for a few more days ...

hmmmm i cudnt watch dev d......had promised a fren to watch n we both didnt ve time as yet....so lets c.....need to wait for another 4 days.....

hmm, the reviews here are really intresting, will definately watch this one,
as someone said before, i too like abhay very much, liked him the most in OLLO, but as you say, this is his best, then i will surely go for it

I may watch the movie this Saturday...or else I will watch Dilli 6...
