Thread: Review: Love Aaj Kal

Well, I saw a Hindi movie in theatre after 4-5 months... and I'm glad I did... It's a nice romantic movie... Saif Ali Khan finally proves to me that he doesn't need a co-star to sail the Ship for him... Deepika Paadukon manages better expressions than her previous movies, thanks to the Director who kept her dialogues to minimal... Surprise package is the Punjabi Kudi in the Movie whoz actually from Brazil... Her real name is Giselle Monteiro... I knew about it, still I couldn't believe that shez not Indian... Her expressions, body language everything was of typical a Indian girl... Great direction, must say... Rishi Kapoor is reinventing himself with some character roles... Glad to see Neetu Singh back on the big screen for a cameo...

Lol..I Saw it last week but didn't like it, might be because i was expecting "Jab We Met" kind of stuff.. Saif was good but deepika was pathetic to me(In terms of acting ofcourse ).. Giselle Monteiro was awesome...

I heard its a nice movie and planing to watch one hindi movie after very long. Saif is kind of jerk in this movie who is always making others laugh

I saw this movie, the second day after release. & I didn't like the movie. But anyways the movie is breaking all sort of records at the box office & that's what the producers want.

the movie didnt impress me much....de concept basically was really good n would ve sold more....the movie at times gets too slow n at times jus runs....its not a smooth story......i personally enjoyed the movie to an extent wid some dialogues n specially say saif's performance was jus too good!

Deepika some how i vent found her to be good as an actresss....no acting skill, bad dialects, no dancing......js a female with good height & body structure...

loved rishi kapoor & neetu singh added it up even though she was der for 1/2 a min ....she looked jus gorgeous.

de punjabi kudi aka giselle....could make it out be4 it was out in papers tht she wasnt India....maddie wht made u say tht she looked like a typical punjjju kudi from village....NOPE..... even when she danced could make it out......

did expect a lot more from imtiaz ali

I didn't like the movie seemed to be the story line was just jumping topis more like a ppt presentation

I saw the movie last sunday. I will differ but yes I liked the movie, ofcourse I hate saif and deepika, still I liked the movie esp. the Sardar part & story part of the movie. Great.

Saif improved a lot. Deepika still need to work alot except on her smile.

Kudos to Giselle Monteiro, very well executed performance, but can't say how much efforts Imitiaz had made for that kind of performance.

Overall 3 stars.

Yeah, Movie was neither bad nor exceptional.

Much was expected from the movie.

Individually the movie was good,but didn't lived up to the expectations.

This week I'll either go for Sanket City or Luck.

As i suggest earlier, Sankat city is fun watch..I'll give 3.5-4 star.. one song loads of comedy..and don't watch LUCK because it's YUKK
