I have been hearing good reviews for the movie. I am very very eager to watch the movie. I just cannot wait for tomorrow evening. I know that I will like the movie. I have been waiting for this movie for quite some time.

You waited for that movie for ages and then what happened

I will wait till few more of my frens comment on it till now only 5 of my frens have seen the movie and they liked it. Anyways sunday i need to go and meet my frens in whitefield will watch it in whitefiled fame cinemas.

I had already seen the tamil version. So the hindi version didn't have much impact on me.

well we saw the movie with all de seriousness ...but i definately didnt like the whole movie over all......

i still wonder wht he is trying to portray .....more than this i thght ishqiya his forthcoming movie seeems to be more better.....

as such kaminey trailers neva impressed me....

Well above explanation of direction by TOI really made me think that he(Vishal) did inspired by Quentin Tarantino and Guy Ritchie... I'm surely gonna watch this movie..

I never felt that I was watching a movie. It was so real. I really enjoyed the movie.

Everything was perfect in the movie: The characters, the story, the screenplay & the dialogue. Not a single scene in the movie is wasted. On a whole, Kaminey is well made movie.

:thumbup1: to Vishal Bharadwaj's Kaminey.

The story is about is 2 brothers Guddu & Charlie (Shahid Kapoor), who are twins.Charlie has a dream of making big in to the betting (Horse Racing) world. He dreams of having his own betting counter. One night in a series of incidents he get hold of a Guitar case containing Cocaine worth 10 crores. Tasi (Don) instructs 2 cops to get get back the guitar case from Charlie. The 2 cops (corrupted) are after Charlie. Charlie tells Mikhail (Chandan Roy) about the cocaine he has. Mikhail is Charlie's best friend. He loves Mikhail more than his brother. Mikhail is one of three Bengali brothers for whom Charlie works.

Then we have Guddu, who works for a NGO. Sweety (Pryanka) tells him one day that she is pregnant. She also tells him that she is the sister of Bope Bhau (Amol Guple). Bope Bhau wants to become big in to politics. So Guddu & Sweety both decide to marry. Bope Bhau dosent; like this relation as Guddu is non-Maharashtrian. So he sends his guys to get Sweety. When the marriage is happening (its almost over), Bope Bhau men arrive there & start hitting Guddu. Guddu & Sweety are on the run.

Now both these incidents: Guddu & Sweey on the run & Charlie on the run happens on the same night.Bhope Bahu wants Guddu. The 2 cops & Tashi wants Charlie. Guddu gets caught by the police mistaking him as Charlie & Bope Bahu goes to Chalie's den mistaking him as Guddu.

INTERVAL - Have a Break

At Charlie's den, Bope's men kill Mikahil in front of Charlie. Both the cops & Bope comes to know that Charlie & Guddu are twins & decide to exchange Guddu & Charlie. Charlie manages to escape from those 2 cops. He contacts Tashi & makes a deal with him for the guitar case for 10 crores. On the other side Guddu make a deal with Bope for the guitar case to get Sweety.

Then we have an interesting climax. All the characters are present in the climax: Guddu, Sweety, Charlie, Corrupted Cop, Tashi, Bhope & the 2 Benagali Brothers.

Some of my favorite scenes:
Priyanka telling to Guddu about her pregnancy.
The 2 cops interrogating Guddu by asking him to sing his statement.

My Review: 4.5/5
I would surely have Kaminey DVD in my collection.

atleast the ppl i told no ....went n saw the movie n found it to be crappy movie....

Would like to have it script legally. Anyone here knowing such place for hindi movie?

Kaminey for me is the best movie to come out this year. I would love to see more & more movies like this genre in bollywood.

nothing new or groundberaking in the story that ramesh provided in

Correct, the screenplay is very good.
