Thread: Things you can learn from Bollywood

I always here people say television and movies are way to creative learning . But I don’t really understand what we can learn from bollywood movies !!
Yeah there movies like Chak de India, swadesh, Rang de basanti, which inspire us but most of the bollywood movies are never a source of learning with enetertainment.
But well bolly movies do teach us some real funny things read the list to find out

• If twins are born more often then not one will be evil !
• Detectives solve cases only if suspended
• Coincidences can happy in any possible way
• Inspires you to learn karate, martial arts and stuff with their nonsense fighting scenes
• If you hate someone at first sight, take note more often than not you may fall in love with the same guy

Nowadays bollywood movies are getting rubbish & repeating, there are some exception to it.

yeah rubbish very much yes as in CC2C, KI and stuff exceptions as in 3 idiots

Yes 3 idiots indeed can be an exception it has witty humour a good movie as ratings have gone high it got great after show publicity hence many were referred to watch the movie in theatres hence aggregrating the revenue and the ratings of the movie.

Majority of movies are the same, but then like you guys have mentioned there are the rare movies like 3 Idiots, and a majority of the comedy movies too!

Its obvious you don't go to a movie to learn something from it, but yes sometimes there are messages passed through the movie, and again this only applies to the rare movies like Swadesh or 3 Idiots and so on!

Films are meant to entertain and make money for the producers. It is folly to expect that you will learn from each and every movie. We go to movies to relax, enjoy, forget troubles, and spend time with family/friends.

I am not defending Bollywood. Most of the movies are crap. And that is why over 75% are complete commercial failures. About 20% recover the cost and make some money. Only about 5% make it really big.

And let us not be ging-ho about Hollywood also. Only about 35% of the Hollywood movies make it to India. There is a lot of crap out there too. We see only the creme-de-la-creme of HW.

well in my views bollywood is the best place through can we learn a lot in the source of entertainment many movies of the bollywood are made on the best subject like love, societies view, present, past, future culture . so these things are the best way through can we learn
