Kites is a forthcoming bollywood movie and stars Hrithik Roshan, Barbara Mori, Kangana Ranaut and Kabir Bedi.
It has been directed by Anurag Basu, and has been produced by Rakesh Roshan.

There will be two versions of this movie one in Hindi and one in English. The Hindi version will be 120 minutes long and the the English version will be 90 minutes long. The Hindi release date for the movie will be 21st and the English version will be released a week later on 28th May 2010.

The story is about Jai (played by Hrithik Roshan) is to in a dessert to be left to die in the heat! Although he is a wanted man, the only thing that keeps him moving and alive is his desire to find his love. His love is Natasha (played by Barbara Mori) who is engaged to another man! Although there are many differences in the two such a language barriers and more, they fall in love. The film then follows them and their adventure, which can bring them together and make them happy or even bring them to danger and death.

The film has been much talked about, but from the plot it doesn't seem too promising! But one thing which will probably make people go is the chemistry between Hrithik and Barbara!

Are you sure about the film length? 120 minutes seems to be short for a Hindi film.

Thats what I thought at first, but its supposed to be a 120 minutes! Something i heard from bollywood news on the tv!

After searching around, the timing differs a bit, some sources say its 165 minutes! Not much difference, but in the length zone!

The songs and dances alone add 45 minutes to a typical Hindi movie.

Well Wikipedia says 120 mins and 90 mins.

Maybe its just one of those short movies! It would disappointing if the movie doesn't do well, as its a big budget movie.

Are all the songs included in the movie? Because sometimes songs are a part of a movie but not included in the movie itself!!!

Ya indeed I watched that movie. I had never seen such bollywood action movie, now after dhoom I like this movie. But some scenes in the movie..AHHHH. Watch it alone. I went to watch with my dad and you don't know how I felt. **** Hrithik. you made a complete mess of a day.
And after watching it I heard that it is not good than the english version. Is it true?

My neighbour was saying that this movie is not up to the mark. He said that visual effects are good but the story lacks punch and one does not get involved - a la Karan Johar style.

Okay, story lacks punch then I'm giving punch to story.

I am going to give this movie a miss. No one has said anything good about the movie. The only thing good about the movie, they say, are the visual photography and catchy car chases and action.

For car chases, I can always pop in the DVD of The Italian Job any time on my home theatre.

Ya story is just rubbish, only 1 hindi dialogue in the entire movie. one speaks spanish other speaks english or hindi.
Only action is good.
Total waste of money+time.
