Arrow OM shanti Om too much hyped

well..i am not criticizing this movie in any way here guys..so don't get me wrong...am just sharing my view that don't you think om shanti om was hyped too much??when it had to be released all i was seeing was its banners every where, its show casts on every second channel and more over the movie is full of bollywood artists..don't you think that leaving aside the story..its too much hype and loads of actors in it made it a hit?

Yes, this movie was very much hyped. If you see there is notthing in the movie. their is not story. I would say that it was just made to compete Sawaariya otherwise it is a complete flop movie.

    Thumbs up

exactly..even i think the same way!!this was unduly hyped just to beat saawariya....well they succeeded in that..but it is not gonna create a long lasting impression i guess!!

This movie was reallyy very much hyped. If you see the news you would have know that before the release this movie made a proft of 50 crore rupees and i think this is really some big amount.

This was a very much hyped movie. This movie has no story and notthing. If SRK just keep signing these kind of movies then i am sure that it would have a negative effect on this reputation.

Sharukh khan is doing all sorts of things to promote his own films, he has been visiting cricket, giving all sorts of interview with news channels, and doing all the off the camera stunts to hype his films and this has become a trend these days. Now, Amir khan is doing the same thing with his film taare zameen par, by participating in all children's channels.

Pals, every product's backbone is marketing. No matter whether it is a masala or a movie (masala movies na :P). Nothing harm in marketing the movie by various means.
