with controversial selection of a biased jury.

can we ever get an oscar??

I dont think an Indian movie can ever win an oscar unless we develop a massive Indian lobby in the jury which selects movies for oscar awards.

but again.that lobby will be selected by politicians or the same biased persons.

You are right up to the point of selection from the Indian panorama. That sucks (ref: Eklavya - The Royal Guard). But once it goes to the Academy Awards committee, there needs to be a lobby to promote it, make the juries see it, etc. This is what I find wrong with the system. The jury must be ordained to watch all the nominated movies.

Why can't an Indian movie can win Academy award? Remember Lagaan's entry to the final round. Moreover, some kollywood movies too made entry to the Academy awards. All we need is, real life cinema
