From a long time back it has been seen the attraction of bollywood beauties towards cricketers. Earlier, long back it was Neena Gupta who fell in love with West Indies star cricketer Vivian Richards. They have a daughter named Mashara. Well that was a news of years back. But according to the recent news the bollywood actress and Miss Universe Sushmita Sen shares a very special bonding with Brian Lara. Sushmita is in the middle of hundred things. But she takes a breather as soon as conversation veers to cricketer Brian Lara. She said “You know he and I go back a long way. I was in his home country Trinidad as Miss Universe when he was in my country promoting his line of jewellery…Which included stuff like diamond-studded cricket bats, if you please. So there we were, talking to one another via satellite from each other’s country. Whenever we talk we still joke about it.”

I just wanted to ask one thing... why are indian girls ( i mean these actresses) fallling in love with WI cricketers?

Bollywood and cricket have been just like the heroes and heroines in the bollywood movies, they are never seperable most of the time. It started long back with Pataudi eventually marrying Sharmila Tagore and it even now goes on with yuvraj and Deepika Padukone dating each other now and even the much hyped Sreesanth dating the south indian lesser known actress Shereen, who has no movies at all with her right now!
