Thread: Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan

Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan is said to have a cold war between the two. It is in the news that Aamir Khan will take on not one but two films earlier denied by Shah Rukh Khan. Rajkumar Hirani is already in negotiations with Aamir for his next movie based on Chetan Bhagat’s best-selling novel Five Point Someone. The second film that is heard to be acted by Aamir is Robot directed by south director, Shankar. “Aamir wants a complete change of image. He intends to start shooting for Hirani as soon as he wraps up Ghajini. Shankar’s movie could follow,” says one source. It’s said that Ghajini’s director Murugadoss brought Aamir Khan and Shankar together. Now for the twist in the story, Mani Ratnam has approached Shah Rukh for his next film. After Guru, he was supposed to start work on Lajjo with Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor, but the movie has been shelved.

This is not a new thing with SRK. He had been like this for some time.. before this i believe he had a cold war with Big B but still i think this is not good for SRK in any ways.

It used to be salman khan and sharukh before, but since sharukh had shifted his focus towards amitabh, now salman is targetting or amir or is it other way round! Either way it is all for publicity and nothing else.

There can be only one person at the top and hence there can rarely be friendship between the contenders of the top spot.

When it comes to the Box Office there is no doubt that SRK is the king (badshah) - whatever his critics and antagonists may say.

Another way to be on top is to create a separate niche area and be the best in that - Aamir has done this exactly.

I don't like SRK. He is not that much of the same person which is much more of a important thing. So i think he should concerntrate to be some thing which people liked him other then an actor.

I like SRK. He is a good actor. I dont see any change in his attitude. He is still the same person but he had improved a lot in his acting skills.

My fav is Sharukh. He is a great actor and he had given more hits then Aamir Khan.

Media plays a vital role to convey the right message. I don't know if they really have any problem with each other. Both have a different perspective as long as their selection of work (reads script) is concerned. They are individuals and good actors, so clashes are ought to happen. Media shouldn't make a mountain out of a mole.
