Thread: Mallika Sherawat had a successful year 2007

With a hat-trick of box office successes ,Mallika Sherawat had quite a successful year 2007 to her name. While in GURU, she gyrated to the tune of chartbuster track 'Maiyya Maiyya' in case of AAP KAA SURROOR - THE MOVIEE there were rumors about her charging a whopping Rs one crore in fees for a short appearance. Meanwhile, the latest release WELCOME is her biggest blockbuster of all times. Even as she made an appearance only in the second half of the film, her arrival only made the proceedings livelier. The year 2008 is indeed special for Madame M as she would be seen in at least three high profile projects - UGLY AND PAGLI, MAAN GAYE MUGHAL-E-AZAM and a Tamil film DASAVATHARAM. A comedy which Mallika's fans can expect from her this year is UGLY AND PAGLI. The film is a Pritish Nandy Communications' production.

But in most of the movies, Mallika Sherawat, had been an item girl rather than a full fledged heroine, with her item girl tag around her and her sexy look, she would have very much difficulty in proving her to be a good actor in bollywood.

I did not knew that Malika sherawat had such a great year and unfortunately i didn not saw any of the movies in which malika was acting... but still i wish her luck.

Malika had a good start in Bollywood and i think she was the first actress from india to act in some foregin movie...
