Thread: 1920

1920 is a film to be released on 12th September and it is a horror film directed by Vikram Bhatt. The film stars Rajneesh Duggal, Barkha Bhist, Dilip Thadeshwar, Adah Sharma among many others.
The film is based in the year 1920 and about a couple who have brought a house in an isolated area. Previously who ever has brought the house and tried to pull it down has died in bizarre conditions. The couple who have brought the house have been instructed to move into the house and pull it down to make a hotel and it is from that time that the haunting begins. Many strange things begin to happen and the curse begins to start and the couples marriages comes in a shade of doubt. The couple will have be strong in their love and their faith for each other in order to stay alive.

Will the couple be able to stay alive or die under strange circumstances?

1920 looks quite good. The music is absoulutely soulfull.

There were a few trailers of the film before, but i don't see any any special trailers or hype about the movie lately.

I have heard that this is a better film than Phoonk

1920 is one good film. Love the songs, Damn good.

Saw a song from this film a few days ago, and saw that there is a song in the film which features Rakhi Sawant (the same as usual the songs a bit boring)...............looks like shes in demand by producers with her item numbers!!

I saw 1920.It is not outstanding though it has its moments.Vikram Bhatt has tried to replicate hollywood classic horrros.

Positives :
1.Great locals.Yorkshire Castle and its British sarroundings have been beautifully captured.
2.Good special effects.
3.Nice perfomance by Adah Sharma as Lisa.
4.Few good scary scenes.

Negatives :
1.Sometimes gets boring at places.
2.I think second half is better than first half
3.Average music score.Raaz had better compositines.
4.Mediocre perfoamnces apart from Adah Sharma

All in all, don't expect anything outstanding.Watchable one time.

I suppose nothing can beat Hollywood horrors.

You are right in a certain way.But bollywood has also over the time matured.
Directors have started to do experiments and are making movies on on new topics.Horror movies are no exception either.

I really liked the songs...I din't know that the songs of 1920 were good...

Movie was good... Better than my expectations (Phoonk really helped to lower my expectations.. )... 1920 got very funny climax though... :lol:

Well looks like out of the recent releases 1020 seems like a good choice to watch then!

Yeah.. good time-pass... Especially if u watch it alone during late hours in a dark room... That is a ritual I do with every horror movie...

Yes that it good, get the good feel of a horror film!
