    Default Problem while seeding torrents

    Hai friends
I'm here to seek help for the problem I'm currently facing with my broadband.
I use utorrent to download data from torrent portals.
    My modem is port forwarded.
But the seeding speed I've reached till date is only up to 66 kB/s.
If there is only one torrent in the list, the max speed is 66 kB/s.
If I add more than one torrent, the download rate is shared between the torrents so as to maintain the upstream rate within 66 kB/s.
I don't have any problem with the download rate.
And one more thing I want to tell you is I don't know whether this is the problem with utorrent or my modem (WA3002G4) or even with BSNL service.
I've also used other torrent softwares. Nothing is as effective as utorrent.

If anybody knows anything about this, please help me in this regard.

    Thanks in advance

    Regards
    ..Sunil

    What is your ISP plan?

For BSNL, the upload rate is usually 1/4th the download rate in most plans execpt the UL plans.

Also post your results from speedtest.net.

For Plan 500C, the upload speed is limited to 256~512 kbps. So you may not get upload rates more than 60-64 KB/s at most.

    Hey
The limit of my bandwidth is 2 Mbps (256 kBps).
I've reached the download rate which was as high as 230 kBps. At that time the upload speed was within 66 kBps.
Even if the downstream rate is 0 kBps, the upstream rate is with 66 kBps only.
Some of my friends are also using the same BB plan. For them the upstream rate will be at least 100kBps.

    Hello,
I was talking about the upload rate. Not the download rate. Plan Home 500 C has download rate of 256 kbps up to 2 mbps. The upload rate is 256 kbps and upto 512 kbps.

You have done the speedtest. You can see for yourself that there is a difference between the two.
