    Unhappy port fowarding problem for D-link GLB-802c

    well i got the D-link GLB-802c ADSL2/2+Router,i use utorrent but my speeds are limited to ~20KBps.i have a 2Mbps line,guess to get more out of it i'll need to enable port fowarding.
    i googled for help but guess my router is new so didn't really workout:48:
    the closest i found to my model no is Dlink GLB-502C
    portforward(dot)com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Dlink/GLB-502C/Utorrent.htm
    Port Forwarding for the Dlink GLB-502C

    but my Nat Rule Information screen is different,i attached the images

    when i go to add a new [b]NAT rule[b]
    under the NAT Rule Information dropdown menu i get these options
    BASIC,FILTER,NAPT,BIMAP,PORTFOWARDING,PASS

    i entered the same settings as GLB-502c under portfowarding
    but when i test in utorrent speed guide if the port is fowarded properly, i still get Error! Port does not appear to be open.
    whats still wrong???

    Default Where is RDR in my modem

    Im having same problem forwarding the port (21 FTP) from my ADSL modem to Linsys Router (WRT160N)

    Interestingly the link above

    has options such as RDR and Firewall which I dont see in my modem's settings. In fact I seen RDR is mentioned in my Modem's help settings but its not there anywhere in actual configuration.

    Im stuck with this useless crap

    No problem to revive an old thread if that resolves or highlights a problem afresh.

    Default Setting up FTP Server behind DSL Modem --> Linksyst Route

    Hi

    Im hoping to seek some advice and Im not sure where to go for.

    Problem Statement --> Need to connect FTP Server running on my laptop (FileZilla) from outside i.e. Internet

    Configuration -->
    I have dlink ADSL2+ modem (ppoe) which is connected my Linksys WRT160N router which act as AP. It has dd-wrt firmware. And my Laptop is connecting to this wireless device.
    Modem Wan i/p --> Dynamic (im using ddns in my modem)
    Modem LAN i/p --> 192.168.1.1
    Router LAN i/p -->192.168.1.4 and 10.10.0.1
    Laptop i/p -->10.10.0.x (normally 101)

    What I did so far-->

    1) Added portwarding in Modem for port 21 to 192.168.1.4 (To Linksys router)

    2) Added ip filter to accept port 21 in modem
    Rule ID I/F 3
    Apply Stateful Inspection ALL
    Direction Enable
    Rule Action Incoming
    In I/F Accept
    Log Option Disable
    Rule Description 1.Protocol eq TCP
    2.TCP Flag All 3.Dest
    Port equal to 21

    3)Added port range forwarding (21) from dd-wrt options to my laptop i.e. to 10.10.0.101

    4)There is port 21 FTP service running on Modem which I made to run on 61021 as this is modems FTP. I checked that I am able to get login prompt from internet to this port but there is no portwarding rule i added to this port whcih I changed strange eh!

    5)I setup FileZilla to run with PASV mode settings (50000-50100) and also forwarded port in modem to router to laptop

    Whenever I connect using my ddns name i get
    Status: Connection attempt failed with "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server".
    Error: Could not connect to server

    Im really hoping to get some advice ..

    thanks in advance
